I just love the new pickle jar. I was torn between buying the bigger or the smaller size. For me, the smaller size was perfect. It holds a fairly large jar of dill pickles. I really appreciate being able to pull up the inside container and remove a pickle without fishing one out getting my fingers all sticky, or having to stab one with a fork. This is so much easier. It is built to last. It can fit on the door of the fridge in the larger area at the bottom of the drawer, but I choose to put it on a shelf.

A game-changer for jalapeño enthusiasts like me! It has an incredibly useful strainer that makes accessing my jalapeños effortless, without the need to fish around in the brine. It's also versatile enough to store other deli foods, easy to clean, and perfectly sized for the fridge. Quality, functionality, and price, it's an unbeatable solution. Highly recommended!

I like the size of this pickle jar and am currently using it for olives. It holds a lot and is easy to open and close. I would buy a couple more for pickles, my homemade pickled peppers, etc, if I could be sure I'd get a clear strainer. But, since there's no guarantee, and I wouldn't want to have to open several jars searching for the one I want at the moment, I won't be buying another, unless you can choose your strainer preference, or they all come with clear strainers. If they all came with clear strainers, I'd say it's a 5 star product, but with a white strainer, it has to be dinged a star. If you only want one of these jars, they're fine with a white strainer since you'll know what's inside, but if you want to have several, you really need to be able to see the contents. It's a good product, works as intended and is at a good price point, but does need a small option change.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I love to make pickled peppers. This little kitchenware makes the entire process from start to finish very easy. The best part is being able to lift the basket out and not make a mess or get your fingers full of liquid. It also makes the pickling process faster. Very little measuring needed and only one container and on stove top pot. Also, I tried and the lid does not leak. This is how: (recipe) Cut the peppers up into rings and put them into the basket and container right to the top. Optional to add garlic and carrot. I then fill the jar half way with water and half way with vinegar. I am then able to lift out the basket to put the liquid on the stove top to boil. I then easily add the pepper to the liquid and turn off the heat. Let cool and add all of it back to the basket and container. Add 1/2 tsp or salt, 1/2 tsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp of oregano, 1/4 tsp black pepper, add 1/4 tsp of turmeric for color. Let it sit for a day or so at room temp and then refrigerate. Doesn't get any easier. Thanks for the great product!

I would have given this 5 star except when you pull out the strainer to get to your food item, there is no way to leave things out of the liquid even for a moment plus you have to hold it out of the liquid and the handle goes across the middle of the basket so you have to work around that too to get to your food. I think I would prefer one of the drainage jars that has an upper and lower storage compartment. You store the food item and liquid in the top unit then when ready to drain it to get to the food you turn it upside down where the liquid then drains into the bottom unit. you now have easy access to the drained food thru the wide mouth of the unit.

I know this is supposed to be used for pickles or similar food items, but it works perfect for cleaning our 3d resin prints. It's a good size and smaller parts won't fall through the slots, but it allows the alcohol to flow through and wash the parts perfectly.

I love going into the fridge now and grabbing a pickle to snack on. Usually, I'm fishing around trying to stab a pickle and would get frustrated. A jar of pickles would last me forever because I didn't want the agrevation of digging one out. Now, it's easy breezy. No mess, no fight and the container is neat and tidy. Definitely would recommend this item.
