Review: Very nice lights! - The plastic housing is a bit flimsy but it still seems like it's gonna hold up for a long time. It's very bright, very very bright. Color is very accurate and exactly what I wanted. It has a lot of flash patterns (and they're really good ones too) nice length wire for easy clean installation. Suction cups work good, it's not going anywhere. I recommend this purchase if you need extra forward facing lights. They're very visible during the day as well.
Review: Holy Bright Lights Batman! - I just got mine a few days ago and will start by echo-ing others; I was not expecting much for such a low cost light. But I was pleasantly surprised! I bought white/white and plan to attach color lenses. I will buy some colored plexiglass or something and cut to fit with a Dremel. (Due to reviews about the dim brightness of other colors. Plus I like the option to have different colors) I have NOT permanently mounted yet, but did setup during the day and they lights were BRIGHT. (Full daylight, direct sunshine) Can been seen for a long distance at night too. Solid all around construction, heavy-duty power cord. Good, sturdy switch/power plug. Plenty of cord to be able to thread out of sight. My dis-likes are the following: 1) there is no list of the flash patterns. You have to cycle thru and stare at each one to see what they are..I will try to make a decryption list of all 18 soon. 2) as mentioned by others, the bracket and removable shroud do not fit tight to the windshield, allowing distracting flash-back at night. 3) the unit does heat up a little bit if it is ON for a while. But that is to be expected. I currently have mine sitting on the dash with some double-stick tape holding it in place (might switch to Velcro). It works perfectly and because the shrould is right against the windshield there is NO flashback. I wouldn't even know it was on of I accidentally hit the switch except for the very nice built-in indicator light. I have some ideas for the bracket to allow for the shroud to sit flush with the windshield, but it will take some serious modification and additional metal pieces. Once I see how this unit holds up over time I definitely plan to buy more (rear deck and possibly side door window) -J

**Q: My son is a probie in his VFD. He cannot "strobe" until he is 18. Do these lights have a steady burn setting in addition to the strobe setting?**
A: There is about 2-3 different models and I have one that says Federal Signal on it and has about 8 flash patterns and another one that looks identical that has A LOT of flash patterns.. I think the one you want is sold through some guy "Haywardled" or something like that and it has one side burns while the other flashes and switches side and then one where the entire light just stays on and doesn't have any pattern.. They are in the $20-$30 range this is a different seller though maybe look at some video on youtube I looked at my light and there was no numbers on it anywhere but I have a red and blue and when I have it cycling the patterns it almost looks purple with the blue and red steady burning.. The plastic housing is a bit flimsy but it still seems like it's gonna hold up for a long time. It's very bright, very very bright. Color is very accurate and exactly what I wanted. Outstanding product. Very easy to assemble. I read a lot of reviews stating that the suction cups do not hold up. Idk what the issue is with others but mine adhered to my windshield like cement. I installed them during the day and they were extremely bright. I can’t wait to see how they project at night. I will post video soon of both fromt and rest emergency lights. I’m very satisfied. Took videos in daytime. They don’t do the lights justice but they are extremely bright in day and at night they light up for blocks!!!
