Amazing idea, but it's a question of blind faith
This sanitizing wand is easy to use, practical, and sounds amazing on paper. As a microbiologist, I have been tempted to test its effectivity, but have not really done so. If anything, using it gives me peace of mind. it is especially useful for items that cannot be washed or sanitized using 70% alcohol. The major downside, other than the leap of faith, is the fact that it is quite expensive for what it is.

Item was defective out of the box
Spent a lot of time trying to make the disinfecting wand work - watched a tutorial video - charge the wand - would not work. Very disappointing given the price. It requires to be charged with a USB connection - charges for 3 hours for a 30 minute use. We charged for over 3 hours and then tried to use the wand but it did not work.

TWO defected units in a row
I bought the first batch of SurfaceSoap UV when it was still in pre-ordering phase, waited two months for it to finish producing, other 2 weeks for it to be shipped from Hong Kong to me, the unit worked 5 days then died, reason unknown. Then I returned it and got a replacement unit which took another month, the unit was dead on arrival with a crack on the plastic part. Due to 1 bad units in a row, i've completely lost faith in this product, and therefore this time i didn't request an exchange, i did a return&refund. I bought this product is because i have the phonesoap pro, and it works well, so i trusted the brand and got the SurfaceSoap UV, but turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Didn't work out of box
I received this as a Christmas gift. I let it charge and charge. It never worked. Very disappointed.

Surface Soap UV Sanitizing Want
Very easy to use. There is no way to test if it actually sanitizes; I have to just trust that it does. Small, easy to tuck into a tote if needed. Comes in a case. Used inside on counters, toilet seat, tables, etc. Also used on the bird bath and bird feeders.

Easy to use. Appears to work as advertised
It is easy to use and adds a level of belief or piece of mind regarding sanitizing unclean hotel rooms or sketchy surfaces. I assume it's working as advertised. There's really no way for the average consumer to know if its actually working, compared to using cleaners, disinfectants, or disposable wipes.
