Spectre Performance 9832 Inline Air Box with 4" Inlet Filter

Super cool parts. Went from a 3” cold air to this 4”. I cannot find an after market air cleaner box besides this and it worked perfectly. Bought the carb hat, filter and some tubing. I have strapped the filer to my fender and dropped the inlet just below my bumper. A little flex tubing and I get a ram scoop cold air intake. Very happy even though it’s more expensive than I wanted to spend. Again, I haven’t found anything else aftermarket that would work.

I needed an in-line filter with a minimum of 4" diameter, and this worked great and also met my supercharger's airflow requirements (confirmed via dyno). I had heard that these units can "pull apart" under stress (offroading), so I purchased a thick 5" I.D. x 6" wide rubber coupler (to replace the thin 2" wide one that is included) for better reinforcement - i've been offroading with it for almost a year with no issues.

Awesome filter, the engine seems more "relaxed" at idle and when i hit the pedal its like a tornado in there haha, good airflow for my 2.8 turbo diesel engine. Great quality product. Comes with a neoprene band to close it tight. Perfect for a snorkel build.

Excellent, ideal for my application (3L diesel). Water tight and cost effective. The size also allows for use of other filters.

I'm using this for a custom snorkel box and it's great that it seals air tight. It's also easy to take apart to change the filter and its slim design makes it a great option when you dont have alot of room
