Diane Arbus: An Aperture Monograph

Brand new and in excellent condition

I first encountered Diane Arbus at Tate Britain but thanks to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Arbus exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario was extended beyond its end date and I went to see it 8 times (twice with couches and books, 5 times with couches and books removed as per health requirements). Many of her works from this exhibition are here in An Aperture Monograph, beautifully reproduced and presented in full page plates. I do wish there were more of her "female impersonators" but from my search of available publications I think this is the best single collection of her work available. There is no commentary, only Diane Arbus' own words taken from recordings and interviews put together by her daughter. Highly recommended.

Si os gusta el estilo de arbus es una compra alucinante con fotos miticas y algunas que puede que no conozcais pero en mi opinion un libro que todo aficionado a la fotografia deberia tener.

Great book to read alongside the aperture monograph book to reference the background to all the photos when reading the book...
