RealFlight Trainer Edition for Steam Download RFL1205 Air/Heli Simulators

Every couple of minutes when I’m playing the game especially when I’m bringing the plane in for a landing the program takes over control of the aircraft. What will happen is the plane goes full throttle the wings bank back-and-forth and it flies in the opposite direction. It happens in about four locations on the simulated airfield. It’s quite annoying because every time I’m trying to land the plane, the plane throttles out of control and fly somewhere else and then I have to fight it to get it back to where I was approaching the runway. I completely lose control of the plane. And it’s frustrating it and I don’t know how to stop this and I don’t know if other users of the game or simulator have the same problem but it’s frustrating and it should not be there. You would think they would work this glitch out so I don’t know if it’s supposed to simulate losing control of the airplane but I’ve been flying for years and that never has happened to me. When I bank my plane to the left, I want the plane to go to the left when I shut the throttle down , I want the engine to shut off. Not full throttle or Bank to the right when I going straight so I don’t know if this is a computer glitch but it’s very annoying. And if I had known this, I would not have purchased a game.

The training module does not work.

I will admit I did not do enough research on this so be careful. I found Trying to install on Stream found the installation guide was badly out of date like the simulator that looks 20 years.

The software works very well with Steam. My upload speed is only 512K, but that is fast enough (My download speed is 100 times faster.). It does require that you use an Interlink flight controller. (I already had one.)The software works well for learning to fly an RC plane without worrying about crashing an expensive model plane. There is one part of the program that isn't realistic. It is hard to align the plane for a landing. It is easier to align a real plane when flying than using a simulator.If you need both software and the controller, a better option may be the full software (Version 9.5) with the controller. You get more choices to learn on.

This game is not compatible to be use in MACs

Apparently Realflight has been altered so that it only works with the "Steam" gaming distribution platform.I found Steam difficult - with excessive Captchas and confusing screens - but the Captchas went away once I got it set up and I eventually caught in to the screens.I had a computer problem - mine, not RF's or Steam's which was frustrating until RF Support finally cut the emails and boilerplate and called me on the phone. After that, it was all good.I am using RF with Spektrum's USB dongle paired to an NX10 radio.So far, I have crashed enough airplanes in RF to burn through some people's life savings.. so, if RF flying skills are significantly transferrable, buying RF is a no-brainer.Three stars for now until I find out how well the skills transfer - and then four or five if they do transfer.
