I purchased it for flatware storage and it serves the purpose very well. You get 4 boxes and anything can be stored from kitchen items to stationary.

These pencil cases are no good for children. The plastic hinge doesn't survive the rigours of bouncing around in a child's backpack. However, if it is only used for storage in a desk drawer it will be fine, and has enough space to hold a stapler, small tape dispenser and scissors along with pens.

I bought these to make little activity boxes for my toddler. They work well. Easy for his little fingers to open and light weight. A bit pricy for what it is, in my opinion. Love the color variety and they work great for holding a variety of acitivies and items!
