Works great for trimming my son’s braces wire instead of having to go in for a trim. Easy and safe to use. I like how it hold the cut wire in place so I don’t have to worry about it falling in his mouth. Well worth the money. Great quality well made.

The listing says it can't cut particularly thin wire used early on in treatment. It can't cut thicker wires, either, including those of the gauge and material this is advertised as being able to cut. I tried a range of solid core electrical wires to see if this tool had the capacity to cut anything at all - it doesn't. The cutting edge has no sharpening. It's not even tapered. Maybe it's supposed to be perfectly flat and somehow just crush the wire. Either way, it doesn't work. In the end, I just sterilized some $1.00 flush cutters from aliexpress, which worked perfectly

It saved me from having to miss work to have a 1mm of wire cut at the ortho. Easy to use and effective

Worked great for cutting the wire on my braces, just like the dentist office.

Was worried with all the reviews about it breaking immediately but so far so good after one cut.

I had a wire sticking out of my braces in the back of my mouth and a long journey to get to the orthodontist. These trimmers made light work of it. They cut in very small increments, so I easily avoided overdoing it and made two cuts to achieve desired result.
