Solid Item
I only wanted an extra board and this was the only one that met the size I was looking for. It has just been delivered to day and I am over the moon with it. It is a solid block. It is a good weight. I like the groove all round to catch crumbs etc and the handles are cut into the ends of the board. I have not used it yet but the details are as it says in all the explanation details on Amazon page. Very pleased with it and recommend.

Excellent quality solid butchers block
I looked at quite a few before buying this chopping board and I'm delighted I chose this one. As soon as it arrived I could tell it was a very high quality item as it's weighty and the craftsmanship of the bamboo wood end grain pieces is exquisite and very attractive to look at. It's early days yet but I've already set to work putting it through its paces, chopping onions and vegetables as well as a ham joint and I'm pleased to report the board seems kind to my blades and shows no sign of marking. I can well imagine this cutting board will continue to be a joy to use for many years to come. Highly recommend!

Having recently bought a good set of kitchen knives I looked for a bamboo chopping board and found this. It’s dual purpose with a chopping surface on one face and a serving surface on the other for cheese etc. The variety of shades of colour and structure is attractive and the board is attractive and appears very well made. A real bargain price for a top quality chopping board. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very smart butchers block and the bamboo is really beautiful. Very well made, intricate detail, and nice and weighty. Makes me look like a real chef.
