Pros: Able to power 4 external hard drives USB 3.2 gen 2 10Gbps speed Slim and portable Sleek design Lightweight Cons: None I purchased this USB hub to power 4 external hard drives and it performs great. I didn't notice any drop in file transfer speeds while reading and writing to all 4 drives at the same time. The design is sleek and looks good. Most modern laptops do not offer many USB type A ports and this would be a great option for expanding the ports on your laptop. Overall great product at a great price.

I had no luck with a couple other hubs I bough. I did connect external HDDs and SSDs, mechanical USB keyboards, other plug&play USB peripherals and also charge my band and iPod Shuffle. Never had an issue with this one, it doesn't suddenly disconnect nor get hot, can use all the ports at the same time. Highly recommend.

Wonderful. Cord is long (best for desk top) and the four USB points are well spaced. Doesn't hurt that is is easy on the eyes, too. But, please note: NOT for charging (not a drawback really, but you should be aware)

I'm happy with it. Unlike my old hub, I no longer need to reconnect my Razer mice every time I open my laptop lid. This hub automatically wakes them up, allowing me to use them right away. --- Update: my fault, old hub problem still exist. But didn't expect it to fix it anyway. It's the mice's problem.

I upgraded to a newer development machine with a new MacBook Pro and was unable to use any of my legacy USB peripherals and gear. This unit is lightweight, allows for super fast transfer speeds from my external drives, and is easy to throw in my laptop bag and take with me everywhere. Until legacy USB-A devices are completely swapped over to USB-C, this is a must-have and easy recommend. Great value for the price!

Bought this to plug some usb vr dongles into but it doesn't handle more than 2 dongles very well.

This hub connects 4 self-powered USB hard drives to a 2017 iMac. The hub is connected to one of the iMac's Thunderbolt 3/USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports (10 MBps). The hard drives are all Western Digital desktop USB 3.0 (5 MBps). During the first week of use, I have experienced no problems while transferring large amounts of data and using all 4 drives simultaneously. As I write this, I am moving 3.5TB of data from one drive to another at about 160 MBps, which is essentially the maximum rate achievable with these drives.

I brought this adapter for my laptop to connect with my Samsung t7 SSD via USB A port. And this adapter is disappointing. There is only the middle port on the side that can connect with my t7, the other three ports have no response. Also, the speed is not as fast as advertised. I have my USB cable that supports USB 3.2 gen 2 and I tested it on my desktop, the speed was 800MBps. However, when I plug my SSD with the USB 10gbps cable to this adapter, the speed can only reach nearly 500MBps, which is NOT USB 3.2 gen 2. This thing is cheap, and I don't have too many complaints about the speed. But the compatibility IS AN ISSUE.

Funziona benissimo a differenza di altri modelli nella stessa fascia di prezzo. Ho provato ssd, dischi meccanici e pennette. Sempre perfetto con velocità che rispettano gli standard dichiarati.
