It doesn't get wet at all. Pencils work best on it though water-based ink pens will wash off. I used it for a SAR academy, and it was just what I needed.

This stuff works better in the rain than I do.

i use these on patrol and even in the pouring rain they are very useful and i’m able to write and read my notes! and they come in cool patterns! definitely worth the money

My preferred size is the 4x6 in tan colour. Paper & cover quality is superb as always. College ruling is precise as are the less prominent vertical lines. I use these for my personal journals. The 4x6 size is convenient & can be taken nearly anywhere.The two discrepancies began two orders ago. I ordered the 4x6 tan colour as usual, but I received pads with dark brown covers. Also, the product photos show top spiral binding through round perforations which firmly held pages in alignment. The last two orders came with binding through square perforations which allow pages to easily flop out of alignment. I must exercise greater care when using the notebook & when inserting the closed notebook in its protective carrier since misaligned pages create a greater possibility for page damage. The company apparently felt the need to fix something that wasn't broken? Return to your previous round holes. If not, then it would augment your professional impression to revise your product pictures to the new perforation shapes. The square shape does appear quite nice but it results in sloppy performance. I'm surprised company administrators allowed such a quality reduction!

Durable. Will survive going through the wash.

I use these notebooks year round in the field as a firefighter. I always have one in my pocket and they hold up to the abuse of my work very well.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a field notebook.

Purchased this because I work on the jobsite frequently and it destroys paper notes. This notebook is durable and built to last. Paper is not typical but it helps me stay organized

I have 3 different sized of RITR notebooks. The only field notebooks I will buy. I use them EVERYDAY.

Funciona muito bem ao que se propõe, que é aguentar chuva. Sou biólogo e gosto bastante dessa marca. Prefiro o espiral lateral, pois parece que a folha fica mais fixa e não me perco nas páginas, embora seja mais caro. Mas esse, em bloco, tem melhor preço... As páginas são firmes, não rasgam. Sempre usei com lápis normal. Único problema é que é ruim de apagar com borracha. Mas isso todos desse estilo são.
