Seems good...successfully wired to RPI but pivorted to another reader.
Was able to get to function but pivoted to another solution (Waveshare PN532 HAT).

Works with Arduino
Made a cool arduino project with it - been working fine for a couple years now

3 units bought, 0 working - Dead on arrival
Bought 3 units of this PN532 NFC module. None of them worked. Tested all communication modes (SPI, I2C, UART) with different microcontrollers, different wiring, different pins. No response on any mode. The microSD card reader worked fine on the same SPI bus with the same pins, confirming the microcontroller and wiring are fine. These modules appear to be dead on arrival. Waste of time and money. Avoid.

Seems to be genuine PN532 (Gets 6cm range)
I purchased some other PN532 from other sellers and they don't perform as well (Range is around 3CM) - These ones I get 6CM range.

Would not connect on all 3 interfaces.
Both PN532 NFC modules in this 2-pack are non-functional. Tested extensively with a XIAO ESP32S3 microcontroller across all three communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, and HSU/UART) with confirmed correct wiring, correct DIP switch settings, and verified 3.3V power supply. All connections were tested with a multimeter for continuity and correct voltage. Both boards power on (red LED lights up) but the PN532 chip does not respond on any interface or pin combination. Tested with multiple Arduino libraries including Elechouse PN532. Both units exhibit identical failure
