I used a tester to check the water quality and it didn’t work until I filled the tank 3-4 time. I complete waste of water! For the amount of money this filter that only last about 1 year should clean the water instantly!

Running the filter through another cycle. So far tastes like plastic. Customer service sent a replacement. It worked out better.

Made in China, these Joypur filters were made for gravity filtration systems like the one in the last picture.These filters come well packaged in foam packing. There are two in this pack.The filters are also shrink wrapped to keep them clean and odor free.Take them out of the wrapper and I then put them in water to get them fully wet from top to bottom before I actually install them. I find it easier to get them wet before installing than trying to get enough water into the tank to get them fully wet from top to bottom, run it through the filter, dump it and then run water through again that is good to drink.I do still dump the the first pot of water through the filter just to be sure.Installation is very easy.Just unscrew the wing nut, take off one of the silicone washers and leave one on the threads.Place the filter in one of the 3 holes in the top section of the gravity filter.Place a silicone washer on the threads.Put the wing nut on to the threads and hand tighten.Boom! Done!You can use up to 3 at a time in the unit that I have. I usually just use one because I don't need it to run the water through all that fast. If we had more people or used more water and needed it faster, I would use more filter. That is the difference. How fast the water runs through from top to bottom.These filters tell you what is in them and how small it will filter (to 0.01 microns including protozoa, micro plastics, chlorine, etc. I don't have a lab to check this but I do know two things:1) I ran some water colored purple with food coloring (that's what I had) through the filter and it came out clear in the bottom so it was filtering some pretty fine particles.2) It tastes very good and makes great tea, coffee and drinking water.Some of the other filters do not tell you what the filter is made of.These are a good value too.Recommend.

When the product arrived i washed them thoroughly before i put them into my filter , ran water through once or twice and threw out to break it in but till now there is an after taste in the water and it is not pleasant . I wonder what the reason would be for this , i had no problem with the previous filters that came along with the water filter but this one seems different .

I have the largest Joypur water purifier set up. It takes 3 cartridges, so I wanted these as a backup.DO THEY FIT?These are the same exact cartridges that come with the Joypur water purifiers. I compared and tested one of these switching out a previous one.DO THEY WORK?These do work to clean the water. We use well water and put it through the filtering system. They work well so far.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is the replacement filter for my Joypur purifier. They fit and work well.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. So far, no issues.
