this is a first class excellent quality, distinctive mailbox well worth the money paid for it. I would give it five stars except I still have not received the street numbers, after several weeks, that are mailed separately. This delay has caused problems such as receiving my neighbors mail or not receiving, my mail. I think they should ship the box and numbers together to avoid these problems.This a update to my comments above where i commented on the delay of receiving the street numbers. First I have changed my rating from four stars to five stars. I did not understand that the numbers were engraved on a beautiful plaque that attaches to the mailbox. I mistakenly thought they were just stick on numbers. This beautiful plaque obviously takes a few days to make and mail to the customer. Well worth the wait.

Mailbox was delivered in two boxes; all parts were present and in perfect shape. Assembly was not difficult. This mailbox is sturdy and will last for many years. It has a larger capacity than the standard size which is much more convenient for me and the mail delivery person.

I purchased the Large size - I frequently have to mail small packages 9x7x3 and this mail box easily holds 6 or more of these size boxes with room for more outgoing mail ! No more trips to the post office - the Mail carrier can now pick up all my outgoing packages right at my curb! The mailbox is sturdy - the door has a magnetic closure - no more latch's getting loose and doors falling open. It looks great ! you may have to call the manufacturer to order your address plates - there was no order form in the box and I noticed that was an issue in many of the comments. Ordering the plates over the phone from the manufacturer was easy they just need your Amazon order # .

This was the best purchase. High quality. Beautiful. Sturdy. And the customer service is professional and helpful. Love this mailbox. The best on the block

Just would like to receive the post that comes with it

The mailbox is great, big and built well. The post sent with mailbox was just an 8' pole, no way to attach. We construct our own from 4x4's. It was advertised as having order form for the number of house; no such form in shipping carton.
