convenience gets the star
As a traveler, the convenience of the folding device gets big points. The ease of using the curing brush (vs a wand), and the flat iron (to do anything but flat iron) is lacking. The bristles of the brush tangle easily, so proceed with caution. Luckily for me, my hair is super layered so I can work with that. I am using the round brush to flip ends & am able to make rounder spirals, but overall is a bit more taxing of a job than with my good wand. The flat iron is only good for straightening sections, where my good flat iron I can curl and make waves. I have not used the crimper section, but have used one in the past on roots/under layer for lift. I expect this will do fine in that capacity. But, as I said, the convenience factor is big. We travel by motorcycle, and have limited packing space. the folding brush and nice case make for easy packing.

Travel curling iron
I am using this before I travel out of the country and my intent was to find something that was dual voltage. So don't know how that piece will work yet. That said I am using the brush and flat iron feature. Both work well, but the flat iron could have a stronger clamp/spring, whatever that piece is. Haven't used the crimping feature. The case is nice for travel use. The vendor thought that I might not be getting what I ordered and contacted me before to offer alternatives. Nice gesture. However I recieved what I ordered and am pleased.

Does not have a very strong clip nor does it get hot enough.
First thing is I ordered a pink one, but cream/beige came. The clip to hold hair is very weak. I have to use one hand to hold the lock button closed on my hair, or it will just slide right out. The written instructions don't make any sense. Here is an example of one sentence. " Corn hot: straight up the lock in place, lock down corn hot pressing wrench turn away Corn hot curling mode. Pick up 3-4 cm width hair clip in the middle of the plate wave 5-8 seconds undo live undertake, repeat the operation to complete the other." I have very thick and naturally wavy hair. I have to use very hot heat to straighten it. This iron does not give the option for higher temperature setting. I bout this for the travel features. I like that it folds up to half the size. I am going to give it a few more tries before deciding to send it back or not, but at this point I am not happy with this purchase.

Great for Travel or For Home
This little thing heats up quickly and works better than I'd hoped. It has clearly marked buttons on it for the functions and is small enough for travel but large enough to work well. Only minor changes I'd make is for the "curling" function, there is no way to easily release long hair from the brush so be careful if you wind your hair to curl it: it can easily get stuck in the bristles and you could burn your hair before getting it released.

Fantastic and inventive space saver!
Bought this folding and portable hair tool for a backpacking trip to Europe. It is a fantastic, creative tool that has ended up saving counter space and working well in the U.S. already. The curling mode may prove tricky to use for someone with very long hair, as the brush bristles do not come off and curling may create tangles. For someone with short/medium hair, however, this has become my new favorite tool (replacing everything but my blow dryer) and way to create that tousled, beach-hair look. The straightener and crimper also work well. You can use the heated curling iron mode, without twisting the brush, to comb through hair and add shine sans curl. Customer service has been great and attentive.

I didn't like that the iron has no pressure and is necessary ...
The two most important features: is a curling brush and iron and can use either voltage.I didn't like that the iron has no pressure and is necessary to use it in the same place several times. The brush has very few bristles and is very easy to get bur if you are not careful. To include a termical glove would help.

Not for thick hair
The idea behind this is great. Unfortunately, I have very thick hair, so it didn't work well for me. The straightener couldn't hold my hair tight enough to do much, no matter how small sections I tried. I did try the curler, but I was very frustrated at all the tangles. If you don't have thick hair, this would be a fantastic purchase!

Awesome for fine hair and world travel.
I now own 5 of these! I love it for my straight fine thin hair. My friend with thicker course hair tried it but it was not powerful enough. I keep one in my cabin, one in my RV, one at ranch house, one at home and one in my travel bag. I have used it in Ireland with great results.
