Simple and Sturdy Chassis
The chassis arrived on time, and is sturdy once built. The assembly process was straightforward, and easy to put together.

Easy to assemble... My complaint is that the wires on each dc motor falls of VERY easily. Of course, this can be solved through soldering. Overall, great chassis.

Bad...Bad...Bad
There was a huge profit from 15 dollars to 45 dollars on amazon and the motors did not work long. I had to buy motors within a week.

Motors don't provide equal power
The plastic elements are great, nice and sturdy with plenty of mounting points. But the motors don't provide equal amounts of power or RPM. Trying to get this to drive straight requires the weaker motor to be at max power and the stronger motor scaled back.

Bought this to use for an autonomous car I built for a project. As a college student, I was on a tight budget and this was the only chassis I could find for a reasonable price. In the beginning, it worked fine and was simple enough to build with the instructions, but as time went on, one of the motors started rotating faster than the other, so the car wouldn't go straight. Other than that defect, the chassis performed as expected.

Chasis base broken while tightening the screw..Felt difficulty in connecting my arduino to the motors

Good Design - Aweful Gearbox
I bought 2 of these kits. After couple of minutes of use, one of the gearbox and wheel became very loose and Robot turns left instead of going straight (Yes the speed inside my program is set right). Replaced Motors and Gearbox from the Second Kit and the new one broke too after running the Robot for less than 20 mins. Lot of users have reported similar issues on Sparkfun website.This Robot will not work on Carpet only runs Good on Hardwood floors. Also, if you have area rug on Hardwood floors it will run on the side but due to No proper front wheels it cannot climb. I bought a Tamiya Gearbox and Robot chassis, I will try it out.
