Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Leather Case | Compatible with 11th generation (2021 release), slim and lightweight cover, Black

After over 8 years using my faithful Kindle Paperwhite with Amazon blue leather case I decided to upgrade to the new Paperwhite Signature. I loved the old case although my first one disintegrated around the magnetic closure so I had to replace it. After deciding to upgrade the Kindle I was disappointed to see quite a few negative reviews about this leather case, which almost put me off buying it.I am very happy that I decided to go for this case - it is every bit as solid as a the old case. The design is more open top and bottom but that makes it easier to fit, and I imagine it facilitates wireless charging if you go for that option. I don't see anything negative about this case. It's quite expensive I guess but not compared to what Apple charge for their definitely inferior iPad cases.This case feels fabulous in the hand - I can't stop picking it up! The inside is equally tactile and will protect the screen perfectly. The magnetic catch works perfectly too without the need for a metal catch, which adds to the overall aesthetics of the case.The only thing I can think of is that the open top and bottom might be less practical on the beach, but sand gets everywhere anyway - so, just be careful!I am very picky on cases and have been know not to buy a device because there is no decent case available! This case puts anything Apple have come up with in recent years (at a much higher price) to shame. I love it.

I was 100% satisfied with this leather Kindle cover, I purchased it as a part of a birthday gift but as it was showing as out of stock for a few weeks until I noticed that there were some in Amazon Warehouse listed as "like New" which would arrive in time for the birthday.Although I didn't save much the cover was indeed like new and it was only the tape seal which had been cut otherwise the product and packaging were perfect. (and the Amazon Warehouse label did peel off)The cover is a perfect tight fit for the new top of the range Kindle I had purchased, it looks to be well made and is not a lot bigger than the Kindle it's self so no unnecessary excess baggage just protection for you new Kindle.By purchasing a genuine cover I was also sure that the wireless charger would work without removing it.So "100% satisfied" sums up my experience purchasing this product entirely.

I never write reviews, but I wanted to support a good product that had so many negative reviews. I ride the tube to work and often have to stand, crammed like a sardine, hanging onto an overhead strap. I found it difficult to hold a large book in one hand and turn the page without toppling over. That is why I bought the Kindle.I also bought this Kindle cover, in spite of the numerous bad reviews here. I am so glad that I did! The merlot colour is lovely. The leather is sturdy and the texture makes it non-slip. It folds back flat and is easy to hold. It fits my Kindle perfectly. It stays closed and opens easily. I am thinking of buying a lighter colour for summer.

I've just gone through my orders and it turns out that the final case in this review is the 7th I've bought for my new Kindle 11th gen so I thought I'd better leave some reviews as this was the final winner. I'd first ordered the FINTIE Trifold Case - Ultra Lightweight Slim Shell Stand Cover but the trifold design felt insecure and didn't add much when I was reading. Next came a KWMOBILE case - lovely and tactile but I sent it back as there was a deal on for the AMAZON slim leather [THIS ONE] cover one (which tbf was way overpriced at full price). I've used it for about a year and thought it was pretty good despite the awful reviews. However it did become a little painful to hold after a while of reading so I eventually started looking for something more customised. The FINTIE Case - [Corner Protection] Hard Back Shell with Hand Strap was lovely to hold, but I didn't like the screen not being covered (I do like "opening" my Kindle like a regular book!). Another FINTIE - a Stand Case with Card Slot and Hand Strap was, like its predecessor, fantastically well made and showed me how very handy having a stand on the cover was, but only one hand strap, a bit loose, and for the left hand at that, was frustrating when I'd seen the WALNEW Stand Case with Two Hand Straps. This was the most expensive case I'd bought but turned out to be the most disappointing. A lovely tactile cover, a stand and my coveted two hand straps, but the magnet holding the back cover onto the kindle (for reading with the hand straps) was so weak that the Kindle would swing free (potentially hitting you in the face if you were lying down!), and worst of all (and unlike the FINTIE stand case) it was impossible to centre the Kindle in the frame which covered the front edges - something which utterly destroyed my reading experience as it would distract me every time! - magnetic clasp - covering a lot of the front edges. So I went for the DBCOAST cover which has the two hand straps, the stand, but NOT the frame covering the edges of the Kindle as it has a snap-in type shell case. Bloody perfect. The hand straps are tight enough for my (large, but skinny!) hands, the magnet at the back is strong enough to hold the cover behind the Kindle firmly, all ports are protected but accessible and the cover is tactile and pleasant to hold. The colours I suspect are all somewhat different to those shown - my "lake blue" is a lovely blue colour, but not turquoise as shown in the photos. The case is quite bulky, and could be improved by making the snap in case part a little less so, but this is still the best case out there imho and I've tried a few! I see the word "Kindle" is not mentioned in the ad for some reason - that should probably be changed as it would be a pity for people to miss this case - it really is an absolute joy to read my Kindle in this thing.

Highly recommend this case very high quality real leather case puts your kindle to sleep when not in use magnetic open and close helps keep your kindle scratch and knock free I have added a screen protector for extra protection however it's not needed as this case is super quality and a perfect fit 10/10

I had a branded leather cover for my original Kindle which was still perfect several years later but bought a cheaper one for my second Kindle which although still protected it looked pretty shabby a few years down the line. For my new Paperwhite I bought this branded cover in sage green which looks gorgeous and is great quality. I’m curious to see how the lighter colour wears compared to my former branded black version but so far really happy with the albeit quite pricey product.
