Noir Jardin Wool Hearth Rug, Rectangular

The color and quality of this rug is great. We put it in frond of our wood burner stove.

This is a bargain for the money, looks much more expensive than it was. Vacuums up immediately so no issues with lint showing (as I feared with a basically black rug.) Totally appreciate it and it is a beauty in my bright, sunlit living room next to a light green wool rug and yellow furniture.

I got this for in front of my wood stove, the rug is thick and looks great, I would buy it again for sure.

Everything was perfect except had a small tear on underside of mat about 6" . No problem we are keeping it.

This rug is beautiful. We just had new carpet installed. We were concerned about the carpet in front of our fireplace. This was one of the few rugs we found that were large enough to cover the area. It is also wool. Research showed that wool does not melt like an acrylic rug.

We had purchased on of these in the half round elsewhere and wanted another half round plus this rectangular one. These others were purchased through Amazon at a better price. This rug is gorgeous and the winter green color matches our living color scheme beautifully. It is a thick, well made rug that completes our living room/kitchen area perfectly. The first half round we purchased was a little lighter in color, maybe it had faded a little, maybe it was a different dye batch. Not noticeable for most people though. Since my sister and I sew, we tend to notice such things. Since two of the rugs are close together (by the front door and woodstove) and the other is across the room (by the garage door) we put the slightly lighter colored one across the room, away from the others so the slightly color difference isn't noticeable. They are also dog approved too. The ones by the woodstove and front door usually have a Corgi or two laying on them.

This will be destroyed in 5 min if you actually have a fire. Its nice if you like to have candles in your fireplace but otherwise it burns like any other Chinese made piece of crap you can buy for much cheaper.
