What distance between the centers of the 2 magnets? they show 4.5" but that is not center-to-center. on my rocker switches, 4" between screw centers.

The magnet centers are roughly 3-13/16”. My rocker switch screws are 3.75” center to center.

How to install?Could it also be attached with screws instead of magnets?

The magnets are where the screws would go with solid plastic around it. They are strong magnets and u just place it over the switch, the magnets grab hold and done! Very nice product Not able to screw into place
