Simple setup, easy to use, better than Apple Fire Stick.
For the past 18 months, after I left cable, I've been using an Amazon Fire Stick. First I had the HD version and then I upgraded to the Max. The HD was great for a long time until Hulu started acting up. Nothing I did could fix it. I thought the Max would fix it, but instead, the remote couldn't communicate well with the TV. One click would send my selection way past what I wanted, and clicking back just sent it back to the beginning. So I made a decision .... I'd had enough of Amazon and I was going to Roku. I couldn't be happier. The interface is much simpler and my husband, who is not comfortable with tech of any kind, is finding it so much easier to use. And there are NO glitches or bugs. The remote is very responsive, and everything is just so easy to figure out. Very happy.

EASY SET UP, NO BUFFER, HOLY GRAIL
Was having buffering issues with my smart TVs. Thought it was my internet plan, but my PC and phone were working fine. After doing some research, found out that the streaming capabilities on most smart tvs are terrible and to try a roku. It worked beautifully and was incredibly simple to set up. The microphone feature saves me time so I dont have to type out every letter, and creating the account barely took over 10mins. Will probably buy another for the smart tv in my living room. Remote is simple and easy to use and it also has all the apps I watch my shows and videos on: CrunchyRoll, Youtube, Netflix, ect... Highly recc

Very easy setup to smart tv with clean look due to no visual wires...great audio and video!
I replaced our old Roku Express with this new streaming stick that was bundled with a battery-operated voice remote. We had the rechargeable voice remote that was not working properly so decided it was time to replace. We had recently purchased a new smart tv (Vizio) with a sound bar and also felt the old Roku express (many years old) wasn't meshing well with the tv's new technology for audio and video. When I saw the bundle, I decided to give it a try and most reviews were very positive. The setup was so simple, and I love the design of minimal wires...is basically a "plug and play". Everything was set up within 5 minutes. The picture quality appears to be much clearer and the sound...sound bar works and sounds as promised. I was beginning to think that perhaps our new sound bar was defective as half the time it didn't have the crisp and clear sound we expected. The battery life for the remote using replaceable AA battery is much better than the rechargeable remote (kept losing its charge and not all buttons would work...remote is only about 6 months old). This streaming stick was a great investment, and we are once again thrilled to be able to enjoy our new setup. I highly recommend. I will eventually be phasing out our old Roku Express with the Streaming Stick 4K setup. Roku is a wonderful and affordable way to stream...dropping the old cable box method.

This is the one you want
There are multiple different Roku products and it can be difficult to pick the one that is the best. I had read multiple different reviews from multiple sites and this one was the one most highly recommended. It has a “stick” that you place into the HDMI port instead of a cumbersome little box that you have to place in front of the T.V. and point the remote at. The best feature is the voice control on the remote. It works perfectly. You can say, “Watch UTube Videos for Cats”, and it will open up right there instead of having to type all of this in the search engine after you go to the UTube app. You can say the name of a movie and it will show you what apps this movie is available on. There is no way I would buy a Roku without this voice control feature. If you have a Roku that does not, you can buy a Roku remote separately and pair it with the one that you have. I have always just had cable T.V. and I never really knew anything about these streaming devices. Now I don’t know how I ever lived without it. The best feature is that when our Direct TV dish goes out when it is storming outside, I can switch easily to the Roku and stream it instead through the Direct T.V. app through my internet, which is supplied through a cable underground to my house. You can do this same thing if you have other cable providers that allow you to stream through an app, like Xfinity. The Roku offers its own free shows and movies. Many of the apps also are free and there is an unlimited amount of different programs you can watch. You can pay a small fee to watch certain movies or a monthly fee for certain apps, like PBS, to get unlimited access to all of their library of shows. We have yet to purchase anything since there is so much available to watch. There is nothing we feel like we are missing out on. You can pair multiple Roku devices in your home to the same email account and you can place a password on it so no one can purchase anything without knowing this password. I am now going to buy a small Roku enabled T.V. for my bathroom to watch when I am in the jacuzzi. Since I can stream all of my Direct T.V. shows on it through their app on the Roku, there is no reason to have to have to place a cable box or wiring or even buy a separate T.V. and an additional Roku device. You do have to have functioning internet to use the Roku and you want to make sure that the strength of the signal will support streaming. We have had no problems with the basic internet service we get through AT&T. This Roku is the easiest device I think I have ever set up in my life, so don’t worry about this. This is not a concern. Everyone should have one of these if you have internet in your home. It is an awesome device and we love it. We watch the shows on it that we stream, just as much as we watch our regular cable provider shows. We have even considered getting rid of our cable completely when the contract is up. You can pay a small monthly fee to certain apps like Hulu that offer the same shows that you like. I highly recommend this. Don’t hesitate to buy it. The price has come down so much in the last year that these are affordable now and it will open your T.V. world up to so much more it has to offer.

Great travel streaming stick with a few quirks
It does what it’s supposed to do and does it pretty well.Setup is quick and streaming quality is solid. 4K content looks sharp and HDR works as expected. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, and once it’s up and running, it’s reliable for everyday streaming.I mostly use this stick when I travel because it’s compact and easy to carry. That’s a big plus. However, it’s not really a single piece. You still need to bring the stick plus the separate USB cable, which makes it slightly less convenient than it looks at first glance. I also don’t like that it requires the included USB cable since the WiFi module is built into it. You can’t just grab any random USB cable, which is a bit annoying when packing light.Performance is generally good, though it can feel a little sluggish when switching apps or navigating menus. Since it’s WiFi only, the experience really depends on having a decent connection.Overall, it’s a very good streaming stick, especially for travel and secondary TVs. A few design and performance quirks keep it from being perfect, but it still does the job well enough to earn four stars.

A great streamer
So I’ve been using Roku devices since their very first one, and one of the main uses these days is to stream my own media on Plex. I’ve been pretty slavish about using the devices from Roku that supported wired ethernet instead of relying on WiFi because I don’t want to deal with buffering or lag, and just didn’t have confidence in WiFi (despite having WiFi-6). Other streaming devices (which shall remain nameless) with WiFi-only connection have disappointed me.My previous Roku died over the holidays and so I took a chance (and a gift card) to try out this Roku 4k stick. I’m glad I did.First off, I needn’t have worried about the WiFi not being up to streaming 4k video from my server. It handles it just fine. It’s a good experience as long as you have a newer router that supports WiFi-6.Second, setup was amazingly easy. They’ve streamlined the whole process, and any apps you were already using on another Roku device are instantly logged in and ready to go. New big-name apps are almost as easy, just requiring a QR code scan and a quick login to the app on your phone. My biggest complaint is that something about this Roku really pumps up the saturation in some of my own home-edited videos. I can’t figure out which setting is making that a thing, but it’s clearly something to do with the way my video editing app saves the video. Roku just isn’t playing nice with it, but that’s not on Roku; that’s in the editor. Everything else, however, looks incredibly good. The interface is snappy, and honestly I was shocked that this stick is faster to load and navigate than my previous Roku Ultra LT.I can think of only one negative point to the stick, and that is that it only works with the special remote it comes with, which I believe is a sort of WiFi direct connection. It won’t support an IR remote nor a Bluetooth one, rendering my universal remote useless for the Roku streaming stick 4k. It also won’t work with most of the stack of previous model Roku remotes I own. And of course, as with every Roku remote, the four quick-launch buttons are a pain in the neck. I only subscribe to one of the services in them, and will likely never subscribe to the others, which means accidentally pressing them is a bit of an obnoxious experience. I understand they’re sponsored and Roku makes money putting them on their remotes and making them permanent, but they could •at least• add two more buttons in there that are fully programmable to access the favorites we actually do subscribe to.The voice search function is handy, but sometimes the screen will prompt you to use the voice search when the normal manual actions are easier and more direct. I don’t really need to press the voice button and say “launch YouTube” when I can just press the OK button on the first app in my list (YouTube) and it launches. However, for searching for a specific movie or show, it’s a great feature. It’s also nice for people who hate typing on screen using directional buttons, as you can speak letter-by-letter to enter email addresses and passwords if need be.Bottom line: I’m impressed. Except for a few minor caveats, it’s a great streaming device that is responsive, intuitive, and provides fantastic video and audio quality, even up to Dolby Atmos in a 4k stream.Five stars.

Works fantastic and great price!
Had to get this as my smart tv wasn't listed to pull in an app. I plugged it in and setup was so easy. It's very responsive, has a great selection of apps. I love that I can just push the home button on the remote and it pulls right up, no having to switch the input

This works well.
Install wasn't difficult. At first it seemed like it wasn't working. I had to adjust the input switch on the TV. But install went smoothly enough. Video and sound quality it good. It's crazy that just having internet and TV programs can cost $200. I was using a base TV programming. It had the channels I wanted and having Prime Video was good enough for me. I don't spend a lot of time watching TV programs. Maybe a movie once in a while. What irritates me is the the TV fee they charge. It's there just to help pad the profits of other companies. The location of the Roku streaming device is in bad location and I was worried about whether I would have a good enough of a signal for it to run. I the speed of the WIFI is more than adequate.
