So rich and flavorful!
I usually don't leave a review but this soy sauce is amazing! I enjoy cooking, and cooks a lot of Asian cuisine, and usually soy sauce is a main ingredient of seasoning. I have several different types of soy sauce depending on what I'm making, and this is by far, the best smoked soy sauce. It adds so much flavor when you use on fried rice or sautéed vegetables. I don't substitute regular soy sauce with this one, I just use less regular one and add this one to bring up more flavors. Try adding 1 tsp on your fried rice, you will know what I mean.

High Quality!
High quality! As I open the bottle, I smell awesome, smoky and authentic scent of this soy sauce. I use soy sauce for soups and korean dishes all the time. I tried it on one of my chicken dish and it made my dish taste whole lot better. I bought the small size bottle as I was trying, but I know I am buying the big bottle next time. Also, I will absolutely buy the small bottles to give as gifts to my friends for them to try as well.

Great for cooking
This may not be good when you want to use it by itself as a dipping sauce or something because it has that distinctive fishy smell (anchovies) but use it in a lot of dishes that requires heating and it will add an umami flavor to the dish.

Unique
Definitely interesting, not the greatest smell but you have to keep in mind it’s part fermented fish. Strong flavor, not for everybody but it’s certainly different and I enjoyed it.

This stuff is NOT soy sauce, it is fish sauce.
as soon as I opened the seal, it smelled of rotten fish. Not returnable either so in the garbage it will go.

An absolute masterpiece!
I can't get enough of this soy sauce! The incredible depth of flavor it adds is like a culinary enchantment. It's become my secret weapon for turning every dish, from sushi to stir-fries, into something absolutely extraordinary. Highly recommended!!

Too Fishy
Korean Source. Too fishy. Not all sources of Anchovy or their curing treatments are the same. Peru no good too fishy. Moroccan, the best. Go figure.

Good flavor
I enjoyed it, yea it has a strong smell but it’s fermented fish comes with the territory. Gave a bottle to my Korean coworkers and they loved it. They keep asking me for more so it gets the seal of approval.
