Snore, but ij a nice way.
I'm a long time HiFiman user starting with the original RE-0, and owning HE-560 and HE-400i headphones.I read the reviews, which all say they are good, neutral IEMs which is what I like.Well built, look and feel good. Comfortable to wear with low microfonics when moving around or walking.Cheap looking packaging and carrying case.Ran a freq sweep and these perform very well, but when listening to the cuts I use for evaluating phones and speakers these are just blah.I can't find anything wrong with them but they leave me flat and bored with anything I listen to. Too neutral? Is there such a thing?Burned them in for 50 hours and they still give me the blahs.Great to put me to sleep except they stick out of my ears too far to sleep with them in.I use the RE-0 or Acoustech 980s for that.Tried a pair of rebound foam tips which improved the bass slightly, though they needed little help as they came.I prefer my RE-0, Klipsch x7i or Meelectronics A161P IEMs with foam tips.Put them away to revisit another day.UPDATE:Been using them more and beginning to appreciate how good they are.Nothing jumps out and I prefer my other IEMs for specific purposes but all around these are a great pair. They always sound good, sometimes great, are never tiring and don't distract from whatever I'm listening to.

The reviews are right the treble is a little rolled off but apart from that these are truly excellent! Instrument placement and detail is stunning
I am a audio junkie some would say audiophile i own and have owned various daps, x7 ,opus1, n3, mojo and loads more besides. Iems include flarespro, oriveti new primacy, re 400 pinnacle p1 and too many to mention.I have owned these iems for about 3 weeks now and first of all they do need a lot of burn in, secondly they may seem a little aenimic on first listen and thirdly these are not bass head iems. The reviews are right the treble is a little rolled off but apart from that these are truly excellent! Instrument placement and detail is stunning, mids are lovely and sound natural, bass has a nice texture and rumble to sub bass.As I said they will come across aenimic at first but what they actually are is pretty darn neutral and resolving with some of the best detail and placement i have ever heard. When comparing to other iems you start to notice how coloured other iems are, they are an excellent reference point in my opinion. All in all fantastic sound and a definite keeper. Fingers crossed the build holds up because I would be truly sad to lose these.

Good sound, bad build quality.
The sound is very balanced and neutral. While it's of course, nowhere near as high in clarity compared to etymotic hf5 or er4s, it still sports high clarity.Unlike the etymotic IEMs, these have a decent bass response, it's decently punchy, but it's not very deep or heavy.Overall, I'd say that the sound is bright, and it honestly is one of the best sounding IEMs I've used. For an IEM, the soundstage is noteworthy, of course, it pales in comparison to over the ear open headphones, but they're fairly spacious for what they are.Personally, if it wasn't for the fact that it died on me in less than 2 weeks, I probably would have kept these. The cable seems fairly robust and it's very tangle-free, but the plug is very finnicky and that's where the weakest point is.It doesn't help that for whatever reason, hifiman decided to go for an I plug instead of an L plug like for their RE0s or the RE400s.This seems to be a fairly common complaint, as I've seen this same opinion concerning the quality regurgitated over the net.

Sound is incredible for under $200, paint/gloss started chipping off almost a month after
Sound is incredible, build quality is questionable.Out of the box, they really lack a good seal with the tips included, but I found that any other universal tips with a good seal and good noise cancellation worked wonders for them. These earbuds are very light, and their sound competes with some of the iems I own that are triple its price point. The case included is a bit bulky, so I found it best to buy another case for them. The biggest issue that I have had with them, is the paint started to wear off after a month on one of the drivers. While It may not cause actual damage to the product, it really starts to lose the look to match the sound quality. While I am sad that the look has started to wear, these are still some of my favorite earbuds that I own.

Awesome IEMs that delivery clarity and detail
If you want headphones that deliver good detail, separation and well balanced Bass, Mids and Highs... look no further, Just get the RE600S V2. I am very impressed with these babies. Only gripe - the iem wire is very thin and may break easily if you are not careful. I compared these with Shure SE215, Klipsch, 1More tripple driver, and Audeo(all I own). These win hands down on all accounts. For serious listening I use Audeze LCD-2, I wanted a good quality IEM with out breaking the bank, that comes close to the Audeze LCD2s atleast 60% in performance so I can listen in public spaces (transit / airplanes). But these held up to a 78% on my scale compared to the LCD2. I am very happy I can use these in public spaces and still get a sound to my liking.Note: These have fantastic and very tight bass and some sub bass as well, they are not bass heavy. I cannot appreciate bass heavy phones as they change the color of the music completely. These deliver the right and accurate bass like the mix is originally intended / recorded.
