Anyway, I purchased 2 6pks, plugged these bad boys in, and the transformation was like a plot twist in a blockbuster film. The pests went from throwing ragers in my kitchen to suddenly vanishing into thin air. It was like a scene from "The Great Pest Escape." So far so good, let me give you a glimpse into the lives of my former unwanted lodgers now: 1. Ants: These guys used to have a highway system mapped out in my pantry. Now they're like lost tourists in a foreign country. Have not seen any. 2. Roaches: No matter how much I bleached and cleaned it, the kitchen used to be their all-you-can-eat buffet. Now they're probably signing up for some "Survivor: The Pest Edition." 3. Spiders: I used to feel like I was living in a spider-themed amusement park. Now, I only see them when I visit the local zoo. For years we were plagued with carpenter ants. The rear of our house is in the woods. The house is not that old and neighbors have had this problem too. We had a water problem where water was getting into our game room and garage, so we had an internal French drain with pump installed that cost about $5,000. We still had ants. We then put in Leaf Filter in our gutters thinking the water and drainage had something to do with the ants. It was great at alleviating the drainage problem, but we still had carpenter ants. I then ordered 2 sets of Bell and Howell pest Repellers and the ants honestly, left. Our rear porch and back patio have no ants. I honestly think they left because the sound from the repellers scared them and perhaps fixing the drainage helped. I swear by these and just bought my third set of repellers. They are all over my house from kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, garage, bathrooms and all bedrooms. The ants are gone....so something must have worked and I did not use bug spray. I hope they never come back as this went on for years. They have been gone for almost 2 years. Good product!!!! Worth a try!!!!!!!

Bought two boxes of these. Figured it would rid some rooms of bugs, mainly spiders and centipedes. Plugged the units in and they turned on as expected. However, bugs were still observed crawling near the units! Especially spiders. You are better off using regular insect traps such as sticky strips, fly traps, bug spray, or even your trusty shoe. This product may work on certain species in certain areas of the country but in my area, the product had no affect whatsoever. Insect species may look alike externally but it's where they live that determine their strength. A spider in Florida and a spider in Maine may both look the same, but it's their internal makeup, nervous system, life experience per the areas in which they live, which determines their strength. Various regions such as cold, hot, dry, humid, all contribute to an insects overall survival and adaptation. Further, if the area in which you live is in a major city or near one, there's already a vast amount of frequencies in which the insects have become immune or adapted to which further renders this product useless. In the rural farmlands areas where there's minimal radio waves, microwaves, etc, this product may work best. It just didn't work for me as I live in a city environment.

I own a fixer upper that needs new doors. My house was vacant for four years prior to my purchase. It had ant and palmetto bug infestation. After working with a decent exterminator, I turned to these to control the bugs that get under the doors. It works on ants, and roaches/palmetto bugs. For me, it does not work on spiders. I did not have any of the other pests that were addressed on the box. My sister has used in all of her homes and she never sees bugs (her house was new, and did not have a "door issue"). My mom also uses successfully. We live in Florida and don't have bug issues with use of this product.

These seemed to function. However, I'm not convinced sonic pest control claims are legitimate. I put them in every room in the house, including in the attic. Since installing them several months ago I have caught 4 mice. All in the kitchen, and I put the big sonic trap in there. I'm going to continue to use them anyway. When spring returns I'll put two in the kitchen and see if they really work. In the mean time I have the regular spring loaded mechanical mouse traps, and two live traps in the kitchen. I will say this. The ants ignored the sonic traps. I had to use the traditional ant traps to do away with them. They'll be back. So I'm NOT impressed with this sonic pest control scheme. One other thing though. Perhaps my mice are different, because they did steal the bait off the mechanical traps three times. So, I glued the darn peanuts halves onto the trap trigger so they had to work at it to get the peanut half. That works.
