Q: How stiff is the midsole?

The midsole is flexible enough so it does not hamper agility for any type of sports activity. Also it is sturdy enough to give your feet enough support for heavier activities like, lifting heavy objects, or climbing. The heel and foot support gives you a solid platform when weight lifting and won’t compress or collapse under heavy stress giving you a solid safe platform. The ankle support is also padded enough to protect you from impacts to your ankles from rocks while climbing while hiking or on trail. You also have the choice of lacing up loose for total comfort on feet or ankles or lacing up tight for total support. I use mine for fast draw gun fighting where you are running and twisting. When you get into position you have a solid comfortable platform.

Q: Should I order a half size larger or full size larger?

It really just depends on the shoe brand. Usually between a 10 or 11 so I went with a 10 and 1/2.
