Fall of the Flying Dragon: South Vietnamese Air Force 1973-75 Paperback – October 19, 2011

Very impressed by this book. This book coveres the final years of this conflict by giving the reader an understanding and a working knowledge of this particular air force. The many mission flown and the different kinds of aircraft that were operated by this airforce is covered in great detail. I like the mission flow and the strong showing by this airforce that gets a bad rap during its final years. A fter reading to get to see the aggresive pilots going out on missions and flying to the last days. The amount of hardware supplied is also surprising how a modern airforce can still function during its last days before destruction.

This is a remarkable book. From it I learned many facts that I hadn't known before, and saw plenty of pics that were entirely new to me. Modelers of VNAF subjects will find it indispensable.

Excellent reference to South Vietnamese Air Force post 1973. Great information and lots of photographs and narrative explaining what was happening. A lost period of the war I think.

Don't hesitate to buy this one,even if you have to borrow the funds! So very excellent!
