Was too large to fit my Fluval 15 gallon tank, but it was easy to cut to fit with a serrated knife. The extra pieces I then used to cut to fit my water pump filter. It's working great!

Everything about these r top notch. U must clean them or replace them monthly. No big deal. If u do that u will b quite pleased. I hate dealing w the gunk. I used to rinse monthly and they lasted a long time. For roughly $7 per month I prefer to toss and replace. If u want to save the money and just squeeze out monthly u will likely get a few months out of it. I like aquaclear filters and media

It has a funny chemical smell to it, but I've used these for years without incident. You can rinse these and reuse them but it's hardly worth the mess!

It lasted 2 months but tank was getting cloudy the last week.
