Great Fan With an Exhaust Setting
This fan works very well. As you can see from the photo, my window is very old and busted, so I needed to add some tape around the edges to keep bugs out. I primarily bought this fan for two reasons: 1. Vent the hot air out of my room. 2. Vent cigarette smoke outside. This fan succeeds on both. Keeps the room nice and cool while also keeping the smell of smoke out. It's a *little* bit louder than other fans I've had, but it's not extremely loud. Installation was very easy, the one caveat is that the locking adjustable sides can be a bit... finnicky. My window is very wide, so I needed to extend them to their max size, and the locks kept unlocking with the amount of pressure the sides were producing inwards. However, I got it installed and it's now working great. The remote works out of the box. It takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). I'd recommend this fan for anyone who wants to keep their room cool, or vent cigarette smoke.

a very well priced window fan
Pros: -full featured unit with remote control that works -everything worked right out of the box - no issues with any parts or remote -generally well designed and fit the window as expected - not a perfect window seal none of these units are you'll have to add your own insulation -very quiet - you can sleep with it no problem at all -moves air in accordance to dual twin 9" fans - good for spring and fall not for hot summer Cons: -really I don't have any except the same that would apply to any window fan - that is to say, you can use it as an exhaust when the room is too hot or as an intake when the outside temperature is cooler that the indoor temperature, but to leave it as a permanent mount when it's hot outside and cool inside is completely counterintuitive since the unit is not sealed and does not come with any sort of cap to cover all the opened grating therefore let's heat in - I remove it from the window and close the window altogether but it's an inconvenience as is with all window fans Overall I highly recommend this unit thus far (don't know how long it will last) this is a very good spring and fall unit but will not help you much/at all during the summer - even as a twin 9" blades simply can't move enough air to make a difference during a hot summer day

Really great except for loud beeps
Overall really nice and moves enough air to cool down and ventilate an average size bedroom. It will bring down the temp several degrees once the temp outside is at or below room temp, and it keeps the CO2 levels around 500-600 with one person in the room (quite good for anyone unfamiliar with IAQ). The remote is a nice feature, and as someone who likes white noise, the fan speeds don’t bother me from a sound perspective. I would give this 5 stars except for the deafening volume of the beeps when you change fan speed or direction. Do not plan to mess with these features after anyone in the house is asleep. I don’t understand why they had to be so loud or even exist at all. If there was a way to turn the beeps off this would be a stellar product for the price.

Just what we needed
Exactly what we needed at a fair price. Delivered quickly. Sometimes I come home and it's to cold because it works so well. but my boyfriend loves it that way. I like that there is a remote. The other window fan we had just quit on us so this was perfect as a replacement. It doesn't feel cheap either. would recommend to others.

Used to Reduce CO2 in home office
Used to reduce carbon dioxide in home office. We kept getting headaches in small home office where we work and play games. Bought a CO2 monitor only to realize we were getting to levels of 1500-1600 and anything over 1800 is considered pretty bad! Bought this. Light weight, fit in window easily (didn't need feet, fit in window sill without removing window screen). First day was in office- In 2 hours use on exhaust on medium, CO2 went down from 1500 to 600. Second day, tried it in bedroom window directly across hall in window on farthest wall on medium. In 1.5 hrs CO2 went from 1200 to 750. Have gotten it as low as 500. CO2 rises from breathing as well using gas appliances (we have a gas stove). Prefer it in bedroom as it is a little loud for me (easily over stimulated by noise). But it isn't so loud you can't hold conversation or anything. Light weight enough that I just take it out of window at night and set it on the sill or floor. Air in rooms definitely feel less dense and more fresh. Very happy with this window fan unit! If you're getting headaches in specific rooms at home, consider it might be CO2 and get some ventilation asap!

Needs some DIY to function fully.
Amazing product, works really well with circulation and venting out air from a room. The only thing holding this fan back is the scrappy side panels to seel the window. Their very finicky and only lock if you put your heart and soul into it. But then the push pins used to lock them in place will just let go within the hour. Remote is amazing, still works just fine after being thrown at the wall and completely broken apart. Another thing holding it back is that the exhaust mode only reverses one fan and just leaves the other one not spinning. Would recommend, only if you have cardboard and duck tape.

Second one
This was a replacement for one I loved that broke through no fault of its own. The old one I took apart to clean and never was able to get it back together correctly so that the edges slid out and stayed out. Then on top of that I dropped it & it started making an annoying clicking sound while running. Again, all my fault. LOVE that it is fan or exhaust. Certain smokable plants are legal in my state and my neighbors partakes in particularly skunky kind. As soon as I smell it, I can just click a button to push the smoke back out until they are done then another click and it’s in fan mode Pros- Versatile - Has detachable feet if you want to use as a floor or table fan or put at the end of your bed Can be an intake fan or exhaust fan or do air exchange Comes with an easily cleaned screen and a separate cover Sliders come out on both sides if you want it centered, or you can adjust it to be off side Remote control works great 3 speeds Cons Little loud on the highest speed, but no fan would be quiet with that much air flow No timer. It would be great if I could set it to go off after a few hours so it’s no on when the temp drops too low.

DON’T EXPECT MUCH FROM THIS FAN
I’ve always wanted one of these duel fans. My new place is REALLY small, with no cross breeze or airflow at all. There’s just nowhere for fresh air to come in. So I decided this was a good time to get one of these. There are many out there, with a huge difference in pricing. Obviously I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so I got this one. I never knew how much WORK it would be to get one in the window frame. But once I got the hang of it, putting it in place was pretty easy. HOWEVER… Those side panels (accordion extenders) are a HUGE WASTE. They DON’T extend as much as they’re supposed to! In fact, even if they DID, the “lock” to hold it out is useless. They NEVER locked in place! The “accordion” would close in one place & lock in another. If you tried to fix one lock, another would let go in it’s place. And it seemed the bottom one would let go the most, so you have to lift it out of the frame, readjust, “lock” it again, and put it all back in the window frame. Eventually, I gave up on trying to get these extenders to fit the window frame. I just closed the curtains to block the sides. Once the unit was in place, the windows DID come down & fit nice & tight. Now for the fan itself. There is very little difference between low speed & high speed. VERY LITTLE. The manual says to just change modes with fan running. The unit is under enough strain just running! I always turn the power to low before changing modes. The reverse mode works well, but the motors heated up quickly. The circulation mode also works well, but the fans are so tiny, they really have to work hard to move any air. This fan moves VERY LITTLE AIR. My apt is only 620 sq ft. It does very little to cool it down. You have to be within 2 or 3 feet to feel ANY air. The “Beep” sound it makes - for anything you do to it - is loud enough to wake the dead. It’s really quite annoying. When you turn off the power, it doesn’t turn back on to the same setting. So you have to “Beep-Beep” it all the way thru again! The tiny motors get pretty hot when it runs in any other mode but normal. It IS fairly quiet, otherwise. Even on high. No vibration - but that’s likely because there’s no “Guts” to it, either. The dust cover for the back is ok. It DOES keep it clean. The fan covers for the front WOULD be really good… except the loops are not where they should be. The cover itself isn’t cut correctly - it’s good on one side & narrow on the other - and the loops don’t line up with the hooks. Again, useless Overall, this fan is pretty useless. And made very poorly, with cheap materials. The seams don’t fit together. There are WAAAAYY better ones out there, I’m sure! But this is not one to try!

EXCELLENT FEATURES, PERFORMANCE AND RECOMMENDED
This fan works very well, gets the job done, and easy to control with buttons or remote. The twin blades bring cool exterior air in, or take interior air out, or both at same time, which is the biggest positive, without manually having to lift and rotate the machine. The size is 23 ¾ x 12 x 3 ½ inch and fits inside the side sliders double window panes track or in front of the interior front pane on window sill. The two legs attach by a clip and supplied screw on bottom and is another useful positive and prevents fan from falling or blowing over if sitting against the window, or on a flat surface. Fan has a moderate weight, hand carrying indentation, and stable white plastic frame. Comes with elastic bug screen cloth filters for front or back side of fan frame and used only when fan is off. The only three minor negatives are the buttons on the grey front control panel are impossible to see to activate, but the remote is easy and effective from five feet away; the on/off/changing buttons have a very loud chirp sound; and the fan motor (not the blades) has a slight hum sound. This is an excellent fan, at a very competitive price. Highly recommended.

Puedo dormir tranquilamente.

Pleased overall but expanders are useless
Overall, I am quite happy with it so far and feel I received good value for the price (bought it on Prime Day for $68). It moves air pretty well and while I didn't think I would have much use for the circulate option that's what I use most of the time. Bit noisy at top speed but I live downtown and get so much noise through the window to begin with (traffic, sirens, yelling weirdos, etc.) that the fan noise becomes white noise for me however, if you are used to a quiet bedroom this may be an issue for you. I like having the remote so I don't have to get out of bed at night to change settings. Only negative thing and the reason I took off a star from my rating is that the accordion expanders are garbage, as they won't lock into place. I use the fan vertically in the window and there is absolutely no way I would trust them to hold the fan in place so I had to improvise. I use the bug screen on the outward facing side all the time in addition to the window screen and like having the fabric screen to put on when I go out so I don't have to worry about the schmutz coming in from the street all day. There was no problem fitting the fan into my window. Update August 25, 2024: Happy to say that the fan is still working as well as when I starting using it last year. With the heat we've had, it has been on more days and for longer periods of continuous time so I am still very pleased with my purchase.
