Whynter ARC-WK-DUALN Dual Hose Window Kit for Models: ARC-110WD, ARC-122DS, A...

I used this product as a replacement for the original ones I received with my Whynter portable AC/Heater. I had to cut off about 4” of the extension part since it was too wide for the window with the extension and too short to you just the part with holes for the hoses to fit. It fit right in the space where the window closes and the actual window closed down on top with no tape to a snug fit. We had a 7” rain with wind a day or two after I installed it and I had no leaks or seepage. I thought it was a little pricey but after the ease of getting it installed and had no leaks I decided it was worth every penny.

Genuine part for whynter. Love it!

Others have said it yes it is pricey. But I went to the hardware stores and they ether did not have anything that would work or looked at me like I was speaking a strange language. Also be aware it does not come with the screws you ether have to buy elsewhere or go to the manufacturers web site and buy separately. that's why only 4 stars.

I was informed by the company to purchase this kit and add it to the kit that came with the AC. I sold them the sliding window was 59” and they said it would work. It is still too short after “modifying” it, as the email from the company says. It is missing the smaller panel and screws. Total waste of money. Would have been nice if it came with the plates that the tubes connect to since it is a kit replacement start providing everything needed to replace the original kit.

Works great for vertical and horizontal durable not flimsy

I somehow lost this portion of my portable A/C set so I contacted the Whytner group to learn what part I needed. So i thought i was ordering the right kit on Amazon. First problem...the kit doesn't explain that you will need another connecting portion between the end of your pipe seal and the window kit which is NOT available on Amazon. Second, there actually aren't any instructions. So when you finally figure out something is missing, and for the second time contact the manufacturer to figure out what you need, they refer you to another "after parts" company that sends you a second expensive part that doesn't fit. Back to this kit... The little screws that are supposed to hold the pieces at the right length are a real treat to insert. No they don't fit; Yes, they are too big, so,Yes you need to force them. Further there is no foam or seal to assist in closing off the vent nor any means of adjustig vertical height of the window closure to allow for vent pipe clearance around your window. I finally ended up grabbing a roll of white duct tape and jerry-rigging the connection..which I should have done in the first place. Instead I'm nearly a $100 poorer. Moral: Don't lose parts to your Whytner Portalbe A/C. Better yet don't buy this brand in the first place. I gave it 1stars but most credit goes to the amazing qualities and glory of Duct Tape!! This is not Amazon's fault.

Needed additional pieces to use with sliding patio door. Worked well as intended.

Perfect fit. I thought i was doomed because I couldn't find this part anywhere. As always amazon has my back.

This plate is better quality that the manufacturers original (Danby) for my 12 year old Portable A/C. The unit itself is awesome and works well, but the window venting plate and exhaust and intake tubes finally fell apart. This plate (with added new tubes and flanges) has made it possible to use the unit for a good few more years! Everything fitted well! Thank you!

Parfaitement ce que j'ai commandé, de fabrication résistante, mais la seule chose, les trous pré-percés sont trop grand par rapport au adaptateur de connexion de la tuyauterie. Je vais devoir rallonger les vis et mettre des nuts pour maintenir les adaptateurs en place.

Thick, well made, nice beige solid color (doesnt look cheaply done). If you need a dual exhaust port in your window then this one does a great job. Adjustable and everything. Recommended.
