My 14 yr old son has a severe developmental delay with autistic tendencies and he LOVES music. I was looking for the perfect gift for him for Christmas and I heard about the Tonie Box in one of my FB groups. I decided to get it for him. I have to say I am BLOWN AWAY with how cool this thing is! My son really likes it and it’s so easy for him to play with.

I bought this for my 18 month old. He loves it! Easy set up on my phone. Sesame Street characters are more talking and the dog is all classic kids songs. My son immediately figured out how to use the ears and tap the sides to skip. I wish the majority of the Tonies weren’t always sold out everywhere.

I purchased this for my cousin's son (he's 6 and slightly developmentally challenged) and he LOVED it! It brought a tear to my eye watching him play with it himself, putting the figurines on top of the box and hearing the stories and singing along...just wonderful. Can't wait to buy him more Tonies!

My grandson is 18 months old and loves music. I bought this for him even though he is younger than recommended age and he loves it. Only wish there were more available characters for his age. He is able to operate it himself.

My 2 1/2-year-old grandson loved this! He operated himself so it is easy to use for toddlers. Nice to have a toy that isn’t lights and bells!

This is a clever idea to have a small character on top of the box, either to sing or tell a story. Be advised that some initial setup is required--loading app on your phone-- so you can't wait until the party and expect the child to be able to play with it. Overall, this seems sturdy, or at least I hope so, because the process to advance or repeat a story/song is to smack the side of the cube. Not ideal. It is challenging to get to a specific song without all that pounding. I think a small knob would work better. This is is only in Week 2 for a 3 year old, so I can't attest to length of entertainment from this unit. I would recommend NOT buying additional characters initially before you see how the child responds. Good feature--adult can set volume limit via phone app. Overall, it was a bit pricey but i hope it is worth it in long run.

This was a hit with 2 year old granddaughter. It never left her side. She took it to bed with nighttime songs and wanted it when she woke up.
