5PCS 0.4mm Drill Bits for 3D MakerBot Printer Nozzle Cleaning Kit

Drill bits came in acceptable packaging, tiny zip bag, issue I had with them is that the drill bit itself is glued onto the handle and was prone to moving while in the nozzle head.I learned the hard way that you should only use this as a last resort for clogs, as it bore out my nozzle to the point where it had to be replaced.

Do not use they are brittal and break off inside. It cost me a diamond extruder.

I don't think they're very useful.

These drill bits have been a life saver when using lower quality filament. These bits fit all of my .4mm nozzles, including my generic nozzles, e3d, makerbot and da vinci 1.0. Bits are very small, obviously, which in turn makes them very fragile. With that being said, you do receive 5 of these bits, and they do seem strong considering their size. I was a little worried when I received them because the actually came in a lightly padded envelope. Knowing how our mail system handles delicate items, I was worried that a couple of these bits would have been broken. To my surprise, they were completely fine. These bits are a must have for any 3d printer enthusiast using high quality or low quality filaments. Quick and easy to use (provided you have enough light to stick it in the hole). Great seller, and would be happy to purchase again.

These worked great in my xyzPrinting Davinci 1.0 Pro, the one's that came with the printer are just some wire with a loop bent out of the wire for a handle, and it's sort of hard to use that way.These have a nice little handle on them and fit exactly in my 0,4 head, the OEM cleaning wires have a lot of play in then but these are very snug and really clean the head out. I didn't have any breakage problems with these as others have reported but I've only used them a couple times. I'm still happy with them and will continue to use them.

These work really well. I got them discounted to review.I had a nozzle clog and spent 4 hours soaking it in Acetone and the whole 9 yards. With the next clog these were able to just drill the center of the melted ABS out and let me run the nozzle to unclog itself.It took 4 hours because I broke two other drill bits in the nozzle. These were more pliable and didn't end up breaking, thank goodness.
