Little Devil Paperback – August 13, 2021

This is my first time reading one of Bethany Winters' stories and I'd have to say, this story made me want to read more of her stories. She did a wonderful job on this story, the plot was strong, it was written well. Loved Xander and Jordyn together, they were perfect for each other, Xan brought out a side of Jordyn that she needed and she gave him what he needed, love. They brought out a better side to each other, completed one another and their connection was strong and their chemistry was off the charts sizzling. They were perfect together. Loved how Xander was obsessed with Jordyn and how he did everything when it came to her, he's what every woman should have in a man.This was a great story, I'd highly recommend reading it.Thank you, Bethany Winters. Listen, based from the title, you expect some thing maybe a bit dark? THIS WAS SO ADORABLE I’m not even mad. Xander is the bad boy CINNAMON ROLL and Jordyn was so fun. I loved their relationship and dynamic. Caged good girl meets caged bad boy and they just become best friends???? Who love each other. The loss and grief they deal with and the angsty plot had me turning pages so fast. I’ll read anything Bethany writes.

A constant support no matter the circumstance.Xander keeps his backstory close to his chest, but eventually you learn why his parents kicked him out. It’s a sad story, and your heart breaks for his loss. And even though he could be bitter, he chooses joy and living life without regrets.Xander is witty, quick and smooth, hilarious, and fun-loving. He instantly sees JJ, what she’s hiding behind the facade. He’s brash, honest, and a breath of fresh air. The way he unabashedly pursues JJ is intoxicating and they smolder together. His dirty talk is sexy as hell!!These two challenge each other at every turn, and their chemistry is electric. They have fantastic banter, and JJ gives as good as she gets. She keeps finding her strength and blossoms with Xander, finally able to be herself.Xander helps JJ live in the moment and enjoy the freedom that comes with it, fulfilling things she never imagined. And JJ accepts Xander as he is, sensing the kindness within. She can’t help but gravitate toward him. These two are perfect for each other.I flew through this and loved the witty banter! I highly recommend, especially if you’re wanting something entertaining, funny and sweet.

I mean… what else could I expect when the H is pierced… um… everywhere… and is always willing to… please the h 🔥.The book starts off with Xander’s perspective (Xan). He slept with a girl, who punches him, and then her brother punches him as well. He got in trouble for stealing his teachers car, a teacher who he slept with, and subsequently crashing the car. So, his parents send them away to be with his aunt, the principal at Lakewood Academy. He and his cousin decide to go to his huge party, which happens to be JJ‘s birthday party.It’s Jordyn’s (JJ) 18th birthday and she’s having a huge party at her house/mansion. She has a lot of people that are over celebrating her, except for the one she wants to be there the most, her mother. Her mother isn’t always there for her, in the physical aspect that a mom should be. Yes, she provides for her, gives her some advice, but she wants to live her life more than she wants to be a role model for her daughter. She’s at this party with her boyfriend, Noah, her best friend and other people, but it’s clear from the beginning that she isn’t really into Noah like she should be at this point.And then… She catches Noah with her best friend, having sex. She breaks up with him and leaves her house, which is Xander applauds. Xander is instantly attracted to her and tries to pursue her, but JJ tries to limit contact with him, especially because he seems like a troublemaker. He has piercings everywhere (face, tongue, and… his d 😉👀) and tattoos, many of which were dares (peep the cover words).As time passes, JJ‘s ex tries to get back with her, but she’s over it and she starts realizing that she is very attracted to Xander. Xander uses his to his advantage and is in close proximity to her whenever he gets a chance.It takes a little while for them to do anything physical (over 30%) but… oh… dear… sweet… Jeeezus… it is INTENSE!!! 🥵🔥 Xander is all about JJ’s pleasure. Although she’s not a virgin, her experience with her ex-boyfriend wasn’t the best. Enter Xan- tongue and d pierced god who knows his way around a woman and cares about his partner. The chemistry is steamy and thick 😅🤤💦. Their first real kiss was in a taxi… and he made sure that she… uh… got off. Even when they were in the restroom and her foes were on the other side of the stalls🔥… and when Noah called her and Xan forced her to talk to him while he… took… care of her was with his 👅 was🥵🔥😉. I love me an H that takes care of the h is ALL ways 👏🏻.The story of Xander‘s brothers death made me get so emotional and cry. I really felt his pain, even though it’s been years, it feels like it just happened.The biggest complications in their relationship are their parents, their uncertain futures, and Noah, who has connections, pushing to get JJ back while jeopardizing Xan’s life.I really enjoyed this book. There were some style/writing things that made me feel like this is an early book for the writer, but obviously, the steam allowed me to continue to read until the end. I loved that JJ didn’t go back with Noah (even though she kissed him) and I really liked some of the secondary characters.⚠️safety squad⚠️-no cheating-the H is hit by OW after they’ve been together (right when the book opens so before he meets the h) and it’s mentioned that he was with a teacher-the h is with OM, breaks up with him after he cheats, and kisses him after the break up once-H’s brother’s death is detailed

Highly recommend this opposites attract book! Great short and sweet read, with great character development of both the FMC and MMC😊

I didn’t expect literary genius coming into this, so it’s a solid 3/5. The spicy scenes are spicy, I can’t complain about that.My dislikes stem just from how immature it reads. I understand that they’re based in high school, but the typos and funky sentence structure just kinda keep it at a “mediocre” rating.It’s a short, spicy read. Is what it is!

I loved this book! It was recommended to me, and I went in blind, and I’m glad I did, because I might not have read it if I had checked out the description first! This is a fabulous story of opposites attract, and both Xander and JJ have heavy expectations to live up to within their families. Xander is a bad boy who doesn’t care that he’s a disappointment, and JJ tries her hardest to live up to her mother’s unreasonable requirements. I loved watching as these two fell for each other and dealt with all the obstacles thrown in their path.I’ll definitely be checking out more by this author!

This guy might have just ruined my standards forever and I came even be mad about it. Also the epilogue was so heartwarming it made me cry, im writing this through tears of joy. So so so good.

I actually like it, didn’t expect the time jump but I didn’t hate it either.It’s rare to me that the “villain” was “taken care off” that quickly but overall I really enjoyed reading this book and couldn’t stop once I started reading it.

I’m quickly becoming an author groupie I swearI adore her writing style and her story telling - I wana be in a relationship with Xan and JJ and I’m not afraid to say it out loud.This was a quick read for me but it was also everything. Bad guy meets good girl, opposites attract (but are they really that opposite), new guy in town, obsessive.. I fell in love with both Xan and JJ instantly.JJ is a quiet girl, she’s self conscious, she keeps herself to herself, feels she needs to do what she’s told and needs to be the person everyone wants her to be. Where as playboy Xan, is the complete opposite, he’s loud, in charge, does what he wants and won’t take no for an answer. Together, they bring out the best in one another.Their personalities shone through and the character growth of JJ in this story alone, I loved reading. She completely blossomed into her real self.The chemistry between the two of them was beautiful, I adore the relationship they have between each other. They were exactly the person the other needed and they couldn’t have met at more of a right time.With this being a quick read, I think this was written amazingly. I honestly can’t put into words my love for both of these characters and also Kian and Travis. I need more of them. Please. They are amazing 💕

It only took me a few hours to finish because i coud'nt stop. Propably my new favourit book now.😈
