While I didn't want to block my AC, I really didn't have anywhere to put a suction-type phone holder. I chose this holder for the reviews and the price, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. It takes seconds to install, the magnet is incredibly strong, and the kit comes with two metal plates for your phone case (one small & one large) that you can adhere to the outside of your case, or place inside the case. The magnet holds strong while I'm driving and my phone doesn't budge. I highly recommend this holder.

Love most Bestrix magnetic phone holders! I tried the one with adhesive first because my vents were so small, but it didn’t hold for long. This one is small enough to fit the little round vents in my VW Tiguan. The magnet is strong enough that I don’t have to worry my phone will fall off on bumpy roads.

I bought my girlfriend and each one of these phone holders and we both agree that they are awesome. The only reason it gets 4 stars is when attached to the phone directly and then place into a phone case it can case some weird fitment issues on the case but the mount would still hold it, no problems at all. Removing the metal plate directly from phone was not very hard and left no scratches or sticky adhesive.

Pluses- Very easy to install, adhesion is great, inexpensive, fits mostly everywhere it’s needed, compact, visually easily accessible,Downside- can’t use my charger on the back of my phone, sometimes won’t stay straight up

I love the product no complaints.My only suggestion is if your air vents move/swing, so will your phone when mounted because of the weight of the phone. Not a product issue though.

Update...My problem was that I did not tighten the phone holder to it's base well enough. Be sure to do that! I have now recommended it to many. It is great. I really do like it. I think one should adjust the base into the vent here and there for reassurance of any possible slippage due to heavy phones. I have a XR with a simple case. And this holds well. I found just the right place to place the metal piece inside the case. So it sits in the perfect spot on my vent in my car. This is a great device!After reading all the reviews, I was sold. I was happy about 3 things: 1)The holding power of the magnetic device, 2)The fact it would stay in the air vent, and 3) that it would not move or shift around - that it was strong. And I opted NOT to use the tape or strip to hold the magnetic thing. I decided to put it in my phone case. But, I had just purchased a Lamicall finger ring stand; and the base attached itself quickly to that ring stand as well as the magnetic piece I place in my phone case. That sucker holds VERY WELL! I placed it in the vent. It doesn't necessarily allow the vent to move. And I am extremely cold natured, so I like the heat to run on high... but away from my face. So I haven't figured out yet if the heat will destroy my phone; or if I will have to turn the air vent off or move my device to another (further away) vent. But, it did stay very well in the vent. Lastly, I was excited at the fact reviewers mentioned it held the phone in place. Well...I was disappointed in that regard. The minute I placed my phone on the device, it went down. I have a 10XR. I have basic hard place/silicone case and the light weight Lamicall finger ring. It is not much heavier than most phones. And it did not stay up...for anything. Luckily, for me... because I placed the finger ring a little lower on the back of my phone and the metal piece in my phone cover a little higher up, when the device dropped/lowered, my phone touched on the dash just enough that it sits up so that I can still see it very well. But I will not be able to turn it to the right, left or up. It will simply always slant down since it does not hold the supposed heavy phone I have. But it is still a great feature, and I will use it!Over the weekend, I noticed the phone fall off the device twice. I am didn't want to have to use my ring to hold it, but I may have to do that. It's either that or use the black metal piece on the outside of my phone's case which would ruin the prettiness of my phone cover. So, I am a little disappointed... and had to move my star from a 4 to a 3.

Por el tamaño y tomando en cuenta que sostiene el teléfono con imanes, tenía mis dudas respecto a su funcionamiento. Sin embargo, me sorprendió. Ya lo llevo usando varios días en el auto, (transitando en avenidas normales e irregulares por baches y topes) y se fija con firmeza en las ventilas y sostiene de igual manera mi celular considerando su tamaño y peso (iPhone 12 Pro Max), solo hay que apretar bien la tuerca que viene detrás para fijar en el ángulo deseado y evitar que se mueva. Es importante mencionar que la placa metálica la coloqué debajo de la funda y aun así lo sujeta con fuerza. Usaba otro de otra marca, pero constante se movía o en ocasiones se llegó a caer. Por eso este lo recomiendo y lo volvería comprar.

It comes in a tiny little box... It has 2 parts to be inserted into the air vent, which allows a great grip. My phone has a thick case, so I find the magnet is not super strong, but it's because of my case. It really works well and it doesn't fall out. Enjoy it! Great value

Funciona muy bien, debes poner un iman que ellos proporcionan a tu celular para que pegue. Se ve muy bien el tablero de tu auto si es negro.
