Versatile pocket harp for old-time
Nice harp. Country tuned C harp let's me play complete 1dy position C, 2nd position G, nearly all of major D (mixolydian) and their relative minors with bending but not requiring overblows. A great pocket harp for an old-time player who mostly plays in those keys.

Special 20
Hohner Special 20 what to say about this incredible instrument? It is Cheap, super high quality, and has a cool design. This harmonica has brass reeds that are super easy to bend, have a rich and potent sound.Plastic comb that will never absorb the moisture as wood combs do, and is completely airtight. It is really expressive and the bending notes sound beautiful on itAbout this specific one, is on G Major (one of the lowest tunings out there for harmonica)And it has Country tuning that is basically the 5 draw reed tuned half step down, to make a major 7 chord. That for country in Second position is essential since a flatted 7th will clash in major scales some times.Good news! You won't lose the flatted 7th note, you can actually bend the 5 draw a half step and you recover that note, with a bluesy tone.My recommendation if you are mainly 1st Position player or is still learning the world of the Cross Harp, I would recommend you to get first the harmonicas in standard Richter tuning and then you can later on get a Country tuned harp.Since for 1P stuff you will need to bend the draw to recover the note otherwise it will clash, and that noted bent actually does not suit some 1st Position stuff so it is not recommended for beginners.I will eventually get more Special 20s since these rock! 10/10

Plays well out of the box
Like most Hohner Special 20's, this one played well out of the box, with no balky reeds needing gap adjustment for comfortable draw bending. I'm still trying to figure out which songs the country tuning is best suited for, having only recently starting to branch out a bit from standard Richter tuned harps.

Hohner Special 20 is the best one they make!
The Special 20 is the best harp Hohner makes! The only other ones I buy are Lee Oskar.

I've owned many harmonicas and played for years and the Hohner Special 20 and the Tombo Lee Oskar are the best on the market and we'll worth the price for both sound and durability.

A fine instrument
The tuning makes it easier to play many songs. It’s a Special 20 with great tone and a helpful tuning.

Very good quality, good sound.... BUT!
Very pleased by the feeling of the instrument, sounds great and feels well built. There's only one problem (which is to consider) : The 5th hole is supposed to create the F note when drawn but on mine it creates the wrong note (from what i understand it does the F# note...) That means that every time i draw in the 5th hole, I get some weird note that doesn't fit with the song I'm trying to play... I'm kind of dissappointed by that...

Started on a cheap Hohner from China. I play daily now so got this lil beauty. Haven't tried many others as of yet. This harp is the real deal and so much fun to play.

Se equivocaron con la afinación que pedí al mandármelo
Pedí la armónica en C y me mandaron una en G, cuidado con eso. La armónica estaba muy bien, de sonido, afinación y en apariencia, excelente producto, lástima que no era el que pedí
