GenTent Safety Canopies Generator Running Cover - Universal Kit (Standard, Grey) - for Open Frame Generators

We bought the Gen Tent for our generator when camping. We used it for a week earlier this month when it just poured the whole time. The Gen Tent was easy to put on the generator and kept it dry, easy to access to add gas etc. It is a little pricey but living in BC and camping year round it is so worth it. Absolutely love it.

The fit and installation was good. The instructions were proper. My only gripe was that in there advertisement they stated the cover was made of a 3 layer fabric. It looks like low grade vinyl to me. I bought this one for my Champion 9000 watt generator and paid more for it (over the same one offered by Champion) thinking that it had a higher grade of material.

Product fits nicely / easy onto our genset. Price in comparison to generator is high. Good news is we can operate generator in crappy weather with canopy. We haven't used in bad weather. Rating may change with usage.

The original one of these that I received came in damaged condition. 2 of the support rods had punctured the tent cover. It looked like it happened at the factory packaging stage as there was absolutely no damage to the packaging and the boxes were properly sealed. The replacement came extremely quickly and in good condition. The installation was extremely simple and fit properly. I have not had an chance to use this item in bad weather yet but it looks to be a sturdy structure.

Ordered and received in a timely fashion. Fits like a glove on my Generac 7,500 portable generator. I had ordered the wrong size of cover but the people at GenTent were quick to let me know and cancelled my 1st order and I re-ordered the correct size. I live in the northwest New Brunswick Canada and we receive a lot of snow and I was looking for a way to run the generator outdoors in a snowstorm. This product solves the problem. I would not hesitate in recommending this product .
