No bubbles at all in the liquid. The only reason I took off a star is because it makes your phone kinda bulky. That being said I like to have it on for a while and then switch to a slim case and eventually get lured back to this one by the glitter. Can be challenging to remove but if you have a slim tool, something similar to a butter knife, just slide it in the side and turn and it pops right off no prob.
