As seasons change, I augment my foundation with oils, moisturizers and the like. Most mornings it would take 5 minutes mixing up the base, rosehip or jojoba oil, HA, mattifyling powder or whatever my skin felt like it needed. It was an annoying part of my routine and I couldn't really touch it up. Yeah, I could make some in a little jar, but it often got lost in my bag or even ended up opening from being tossed about.Two of these and I'm set. Now I have one for summer (no oil added, but powder instead and a tinge darker because tanned skin) and winter (lighter shade with oils and HA added) This is wonderful for touch ups because you can just dab your finger on the sponge and pat on your skin. A Beauty Blender works great too. I'm super happy to see there's extra inserts as well. Not a necessary part of the compact, IMHO, but if you wanted to make several for easy swapping, the extra will help.Unsure why people think it's a waste of product. My intent is to just remove the sponge when it's getting 'dry' and dab on my skin, then blend it out. No more waste than a traditional makeup sponge. You can squeeze the sponge until it's almost dry, so I don't think it will waste much.The application pad included is thin and flimsy, but they all are. Toss it and use your fingers or favorite sponge.I'm wondering if I can use my night oil blend in this for when I forget to put it on before bed...Guess I'll have to buy some more!

Just got it in today, looks like a good product, good quality. Cute item. Easy to use for a diy cushion makeup. I used it with my Too Faced Born this way foundation. Still have to use it to see how well it works

I like this product. I bought this specifically for liquid foundation-and although I still love it-i do partially agree with the one star reveiw. The sponge isnt as porous as most are and therefore is harder to press down and actually receive product onto the applicator. After some trial and error(good thing I received two sponges) I quickly realized the best way to use this was to either a) use an airbrush foundation or more liquidous foundation or b) press ALOT harder than normal. I still absolutely love this product and wish you the best in buying it-simply be warned that sometimes it seems like all of the product disappeared

Great! I was disappointed at first because I thought it didn't come with a mirror.. then I read the reviews and you just have to pull off a protective film over the mirror (LOL) anyway, this is great I bought it to put sunscreen in so I can apply it over makeup.. loving it so far! It also comes with an extra reservoir with the sponge so that's great :-)

I wouldn’t necessarily call this a “luxurious” case... it feels and looks very standard. It’s not very heavy in the hand in my opinion. And the sponge provided feels very cheap and weird. Almost like something they pulled out of a dollar store. Other sponges on cushions like It’s My Cushion are mush more higher quality. This sponge makes dispensing product kind of a hassle as you have to press harder. With that said it does the job and I think they’re great when you have a foundation you no longer reach for and turn it into a on the go cushion. I had some forgotten Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and mixed in there with some Etude House Nymph Aura volumizer and some Belif cream mixed it up with a cotton. Let it saturate over night upside down. And bam a quick on the go more fuller coverages foundation for days when I need it. Hated the sponge the more I used it.

This compact is so fancy I love it! I can't believe the quality for the price and it comes with a refill! I would recommend buying extra puffs because they don't wash/reuse well. But no harm done it's beautiful and the mirror is good. It's perfect to add my summer color and favorite spf fluid for touch ups on the go. I will probably be purchasing another.

This is NOT like a normal cushion compact - in case you were wanting to use your own foundation or cc/bb cream. The cushion is not the same and will absorb all of your product. I lost half a tube of BB cream in this thing. This was a total waste of money. You are better off just buying real cushion compact foundation and filling it up as you need it.EDIT:I see from some customer images that their compact has a blue logo on top. Mine did not so I obviously did not receive the same product and I can only legitimately review what I have received. Buyer beware.

i mix my foundations all the time and this makes it convenient to mix your foundations without having to constantly pour it u just press and go! mirror is also a big size to see your whole face unlike some compact. easy to mix, press and go!
