Bought it to make whoopie slings and associated camping loops.Top cordage.

Luckily I can read the description so this was the perfect thickness for the purpose I had in mind. Excellent stuff!

Haven't had time to test maximum tension strength but this little string is extremely strong.

PROS- the blue cord is a vibrant blue as advertised.After handling the cord relaxes and becomes more workable.The cord cuts easily with a sharp tool.The pricing of this product is reasonable in comparison to other similar products.CONS- the cord ends do not burn seal and remains loose which easily frays.I didn’t receive the advertised cordage length and was short by 30cm, at the price of this cordage that is an unacceptable.I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT ON THE BASIS OF IT BEING NOT TRUE TO ITS ADVERTISING.

Recently purchased to make a fewfixed hammock ridgelines. Very strong and seems good quality. Smaller diameter seems more stiff/waxed than 3mm stuff I had before and definitely a lot more fiddly to splice, but lightweight and good quality.

Anyone looking to use this for a tarp ridge/guy line setups won't be disappointed.Fits all my Dutchware bling perfectly (1.6mm) with no issues.I've used zing it in the past but this works out probably half the price. One roll of 30m easily allows for a 12m ridge line with plenty left over for guys.It can be spliced for eyes but is a little more fiddly than zing it, even mini soft shackles!Has what appears to be a waxy coating.Have just used it this wknd the first time and I'm really impressed so thought I'd write a review incase someone else is looking for the same kind thing I've used it for.

Stiffer than 7/64 Amsteel Blue, and considerably more faffy to splice and leaves dye / coating (I brought black) on your hands and gear. I have made a couple of soft shackles so far, I will use the rest for fixed ridge lines to get rid of it and use something else for soft shackles and whoopies. Would have returned if I realised the dye came off before I cut the lengths off for my soft shackles. Would not recommend for Whoopies, UCR's or soft shackles.

If you like your lines light, strong and taking up as little space when packed as possible then this is the job. It’s pricey but does have the advantages above when compared to some alternatives. Be aware some knots will slip when tied in this kind of dynema cord although that’s common to all dynema and not a fault of this product. Learn the knots that are less prone to slipping and you’ll be fine. You can splice it for some applications too but be aware that the smaller diameter will make this tricky unless you have a very thin splicing tool. I’ve spliced it onto my tent guy lines and attached small tensioners which saves weight, bulk and gives confidence if conditions get a bit wild.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I purchased 7/64 inch thickness to make whoopee slings. It is pretty similar to amsteel, but it's a little more finicky to work with. You need just a little more patience to do splices and buries than amsteel, but it's pretty easy.

I ordered this thinking it was a little bit larger and it turned out being much smaller than what I expected but it wasn't the products fault.Not as easy to tie into a whoopie sling like dynema but all in all still a good product!

The cord itself seems pretty good, but if you order the black expect it to be grey and your hands to be covered in dye.
