Eucerin Advanced Repair Body Cream, Urea Enriched, 8 OZ

I really like this Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion for times when my skin needs more moisture than a basic body lotion can provide. It feels substantial and moisturizing without being so heavy that I only want to use it occasionally. I especially like applying it after showering, when my skin tends to feel the driest. The formula contains urea along with glycerin, Ceramide-3 and other natural moisturizing factors designed to help hydrate dry skin and support the skin’s moisture barrier. Eucerin states that the lotion provides up to 48 hours of hydration, and I appreciate that it is formulated specifically for dry to very dry skin. One of my favorite things about this lotion is that it is fragrance-free. I don't always want a heavily scented body product, particularly when my skin is already feeling dry or sensitive. It's also free from dyes and parabens and is non-comedogenic. The texture strikes a good balance for me. It's more moisturizing than a thin everyday lotion, but it still spreads easily over larger areas like my arms and legs. You don't need a huge amount to get good coverage, so the 16.9-ounce bottle should last a reasonable amount of time with regular use. I also appreciate that this isn't simply a lotion that makes my skin temporarily feel softer. The combination of moisturizing ingredients and ceramides is intended to help strengthen the skin's moisture barrier and help prevent dryness from returning. One thing I would mention is that the formula contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). Eucerin advises that this can increase sun sensitivity, so it's important to follow the label's sun-protection directions when using it. Overall, I think this is a great choice for anyone dealing with persistently dry, rough-feeling skin who wants something more intensive than a lightweight scented body lotion. The fragrance-free formula, generous bottle size, urea and ceramide-enriched formula, and long-lasting hydration make it a practical product to keep in my regular body-care routine.

Help my skin a lot is very good special for dry skin with eczema

I have very dry skin and this Eucerin Advanced Repair cream helped me a lot. Hydrates for 48H and repairs the skin barrier. Fragrance free and not greasy. Absorbs well. Dermatologist recommended brand. Highly recommended for dry to very dry skin.

I'm finding that menopause skin is very, very dry skin. Combine that with a harsh winter and my skin was in much worst shape than normal. I usually had noticeably dry skin on my legs & arms but winter made it itchy & more flakey. I started using the Eucerin calming formula but that did nothing for the dryness but did moderately help lessen the itching. I got online to see what I could do for the flaking skin, add moisture and curb the itching without having to go to a dermatologist because I didn't think I had a major issue. My reading recommended alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) formula moisturizers and from reading amlactin was very popular and received high marks but I wanted to look at & try a couple of things before I committed to just one as it's likely this will become part of my regular skin care and I'd need an affordable option. I discovered the Eucerin AHA formula on Amazon, liked the reviews & decided why not try it. The price point was very good compared to amlactin. I received the Eucerin 12/14/2017 and have used it religiously twice a day. The flakiness subsided in a week and the itch only occurs on my back where I can't reach to apply it. This stuff has been wonderful to apply to my skin. My skin is no longer flaky or ashy & the rough patches are gone from my knees & elbows. This stuff is very heavy but it doesn't feel greasy to me because my skin soaks uses it in pretty quickly. I am not sure if I could use this in a hot, humid summer but for the current -20+ wind chills I'm living through, that heaviness is working in my favor. If you don't want to apply a heavy thick lotion to your skin or if that type of formula could cause a breakout, this isn't the moisturizer for you. It doesn't really have a smell to me. Once I apply it I only smell the scent of my bee & flower sandalwood soap. This lotion is not scented so that's a plus for me. Also unlike amlactin it does not contain parabens. I did order the amlactin and will try it after this is gone but it's likely I will continue with the Eucerin AHA formula. It has worked very well for me. I've not done price shopping for this locally so I can't add anything in terms of costs on Amazon versus brick&mortar. But if you can handle its heaviness I'd definitely recommend it.

Amazing job for extremely dry skin! I've tried quite few highly recommended lotions/creams that were bringing relieve for a short time. Finally I've bought Eucerin Advanced, and just after 2 days of applying it all scaling on my legs were gone. Surprisingly (considering how effective it is), it's not greasy and absorbs very fast. Highly recommend.

the bundle price is a great value but I have sensitive skin and the cleanser was a bit harsh caused skin irritation but the lotion was great no issue at all was soothing just wish the bottle was bigger and wished that the bundle would have been 2 lotion bundle.would only buy the lotion again.

This is hands down the best urea-based body lotion I’ve used. I’ve tried different Eucerin variants with varying thickness and urea percentages, and this particular one has worked really well for me—especially during spring and summer. I have dry, sensitive, Indian brown skin, so I have to be really careful with the products I use. A lot of moisturizers end up causing itchiness or even lead to hyperpigmentation, but this one has been consistently gentle and effective. it leaves a bit stickiness for few minutes after application then it feels just normal. It’s become a staple in my routine. The texture is just right—rich but not overly thick, with a smooth glide that absorbs well. I love that it’s fragrance-free, which is a must for my sensitive skin. I use Cetaphil for my face, but for my body, I’ve tried many options and keep coming back to this. For winter, I switch to Eucerin’s Roughness Relief lotion, which is a bit thicker. I usually stock up during sales or grab it when I see a good price—it’s definitely value for money. I’ve even recommended it to my friends. Highly worth it!

It is really good.. it worked with dry skin very well.

Beautiful and creamy. Easy to apply. A list goes a long way. Pricey but worth it. Legs stayed smooth all dated. Noticeable difference after just a few applications and I have very dry skin caused by lymphedema.
