With the new DOT technology, the block pin is in the opposite side; an engraved mark takes the place of the pin, but without the drilling restrictions associated with the pin. This gives you total flexibility when drilling this ball... you can literally drill it anyway you want (pin-up, pin-down, pin-under) at any angle.It is a flip ball of the Advanced group, so you can expect a smooth path through the marks and rolling effort past the mid-lane for a strong turn on the back (not as strong as the Vapor Zone or the Quantum Bias Pearl, but more predictable/manageable).

Great starter ball.

I like the design mostly. I don’t like that there’s a tiny little bump that sticks up maybe 32s of an inch above the actual balls outer surface and is approximately an 1/8th inch in diameter. It seems to Bowl ok.

The only thing about this pre-drilled holes is you can’t throw the ball with an effective curve like my Old One with my specific drilled holes
