Braun MQ 9138XI MultiQuick 9 Hand Blender

I would highly recommend this product. It has a powerful motor and very useful attachments (but not lots of useless ones). It is also easy, and fairly reasonable, to buy replacement parts. I checked before purchasing. I also recommend buying the masher attachment. This product is a game changer.

Pricey but well worth it. You can feel the quality. As a replacement for a 20 year old model. Pleasantly surprised at the solidity. The safety function took a few moments to get used to, but other than that loved it!

I’ve been mulling over which hand blender to buy for some time. Eventually chose this one and I’m pleased I did. Wonderful piece of kit; powerful, easy to use and, more importantly, to clean afterwards. An excellent device which I would recommend to anyone.

The Ds Bs . I've waited so long to splash out on this Braun hand blender, wish I'd done so years ago. Very ergonomic with the 2 power settings thumb button and child lock on top. The progressive blending speed button works on squeeze pressure and is faultless. The power output is perfect . Cleaning the equipment is a doddle, no sneaky nooks and crannies to hide food in.

I have gone from a kenwood, about 700w, to this. Had kenwood several years. Motor finally gone when hit a piece of date pit. The braun is noticeably more powerful. The chopper attachment blends to a puree, kenwood would only fine chop. The spice/coffee grinder, I've put 3 cloves in to test and reduced to dust, so excellent. The hand blender I wasn't so keen on. The kenwood had shallow head and cd be used effectively in shallow container. This has bell shape and only seems to blend deep in whatever you are are submerging it in with some wiggling. So like most things pros and cons, but improvement on the whole.

The motor fits onto all the parts well and is very powerful. The food processor attachment has easily chopped all vegetables I've tried and is quick to turn carrots or onions into a pulp on high power! The end of the blender attachment seems to be all quality stainless steel which is easy to clean although I've found that the edges can scrape the sides of the plastic jug if I am not careful. I definitely recommend for someone looking for a powerful hand blender with lots of attachments.

the spice grinder blade fails, this is the second one of these we have had, the first one failed within 30 days with the same the same fault, last one was returned within the 30 day return window. the blade shredded itself, leaving shredded micro plastics in the spices being ground. The rest of the device so far has seemed good, but we don't really use the ice blade, and would be worried it might do the same after a few uses.

I've used many hand held blenders over the years, and this is by far the best one. It is a space saver, which is a very important feature to me. I see all these mega machines and their size is intimidating. and they keep getting more complex every day. Sometimes simple does the job better. I like in particular that it doesn't splash and i can safely use it in my staub to blend vegetables. I couldn't do that in the past. I make peanut butter using the coffee/spice grinder and it comes out great. It's important to not exceed the Max limit (otherwise won't grind properly).
