Julian Taylor Women's Lace Fit-and-Flare Dress

Not only am I a Nordstrom girl, I'm also a petite. So finding a well fitting, quality dress is practically impossible - and I refuse to wear anything that looks cheap! I figured I didn't have much to lose when trying out this petite dress. This dress fits PERFECTLY and is proportioned for a petite! There is a back zipper for easy on/off, the fabric is extremely comfortable, and the skirt has a beautiful, feminine swing. I truly cannot believe I found a well-fitting dress that has luxury details and sewing for what the sales tax would cost! Would recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful evening dress.

I never get clothes online because i'm a person that needs to try everything on in the store before I buy. Well it's end of September and I couldn't find a dress for a wedding I had in a week. I was not thrilled about looking online. I found a few dresses that were upwards to $100 but I couldn't swing that for one wedding. I came across this dress and figured I would give it a try. It fit like a glove! It looks just like it does in the picture. I couldn't have been happier. The material is good fabric and does not irritate under my arms when rubbing against the dress. I a size 14/16 but like my dresses to be form fitting so I went with a size 14 (I have a smaller waste but large buttocks). Highly recommend!

This dress fits so nicely in all the right places. Everyone commented how beautiful the dress is. The look is stunning and pretty and the quality is exceptional. Love love love. They should make it in more colours.

This is going to be my new favorite dress. I did buy it a bit big for me, but I like a little room in my dresses and I always want to make sure the dress is long enough. I am 5'6" and about 140 lbs. I am muscular and have a very small chest. I could have purchased this dress at least two sizes smaller and maybe even one size bigger. I never care about the size number and sometimes buy different sizes based upon the best price. This dress is flattering even a little bigger than needed. Every time I wear this dress, strangers come up to me and compliment the dress. I love it!

Looks great! I'm 5'8" and it comes to just above the knee. Very flattering- can wear with or without a belt. Exactly what I was looking for!

I wore this to an evening wedding and got lots of compliments on it. I'm a small size but tall and didn't want a mini-dress. This was a perfect length and I ordered a size 6 (even though I'm a 4 usually). It was slightly big in the waist but I had a cute leather rope belt and used that to cinch the waist.. it looked so cute with the mixed textures and I will wear this again and again. Don't hesitate to purchase this if you like the style. I'd say it's sized correctly.

Love this dress- the fit and flare style is flattering and great to have petite options! I could get away with the regular size but prefer dresses to not fall below this knee- this one is perfect length with the petite hitting just above my knee (5"4). I would love to see this dress in other patterns and colors.

The lace was too delicate. It's pretty in the picture, but the bust was many inches tighter than I expect from a Julian Taylor size 16. I had to send it back. If you aren't extremely busty, though, it's probably a nice pick.
