The only downside about this phone stand is that you cannot FaceTime with it and it moves and follows you so I had to send mine back. Someone need to come up with one that you can FaceTime with and it still move. That would be great.

Lo compré para poner mi movil en general para poder visualizar videos y mensajes mientras trabajo en mi escritorio pero por su versatilidad para grabar y girar terminé usándolo para hacer mis stories en rrss y más. Lo más TOP es que va por magsafe por lo que colocarlo y quitarlo es tan fácil como poner y quitar por el iman. Así de simple...sin ganchos ni nada. Lo máximo!

The short version is written in the very last paragraph under the line.The product does what it says on the box, just not in an amazing fashion.A magsafe iPhone without it's case will magnetically attach to the mount no issues.3x AAA batteries means the product will last as long as you replace the batteries, a good feature and one of the reasons why I purchased this product.Now for the actual tracking experience.The app is developed by some 3rd party with just Belkin's name attached, I was expecting a more polished and nice app from Belkin themselves. The app works by using the "Screen recording" feature on iOS. So basically it gets a direct feed of your iOS screen and then once you open the camera it runs the face-tracking AI on that feed in the background.Now for the actual tracking of the product and in the app. Well it's slow. Once the app locks onto your face if you move too quickly it will lose track of you very easily and you are forced to take a step back so it can lock onto your face again.This is not helped by the fact that the gimbal moves very slowly. If you are closer to the camera it fails to keep up and tracking loses you easily. If you put some distance between you and the camera then your overall movement on the screen becomes slower, making it easier for the gimbal and tracking to keep up.The gimbal itself only moves horizontally on it's own, which is fine that's how it looks on the pictures. You can adjust the vertical angle of the magnetic mount with the phone on it before shooting.One good feature is the gimbal can rotate 360 degrees. I tested it by putting it on the table and walking round and round slowly. If you walk slow the gimbal does a decent job of staying smooth and keeping up.I think this product is maybe good for people who want to record short videos where they move very slowly in the frame. But this really reduces it's possibilities and you are left with something that only works well for strictly "planned" videos where you move slow and keep looking at the camera.It is not something that you can just press record and expect to track you all over the place.-------So in conclusion, it is much more slow and difficult to use than I thought so overall a poor experience.I like the fact it uses AA batteries and the design looks good and it "works" so I guess 2 stars is appropriate.Also after recording some short videos for about 10 mins the App made the phone very hot. I suspect this is because it is doing 3 things at once: 1 screen recording (sharing) the phone display, 2 running the Face-tracking AI on the screen recording feed, and 3 recording a video with the camera app.Having your phone get really hot is not something you want for your smart phone battery health, making me less likely to feel like using this product.I also thought this could be used to film pets, but it does not recognize pets faces well so it doesn't work.
