This desk is a little bit of a pain to put together as there are lots of parts. Instructions are pretty good though. I used an electric screwdriver with the right (allen head) bit and that sped things up a lot. All parts were there - all perfect. Once I got it unboxed on a carpeted floor, it took about an hour to assemble. Parts were very well labeled which I appreciate. When done, it’s sturdy and attractive. Great value for the money. We recently purchased a different desk for about $1000 and both my wife and I think this is just as good. Bottom line, one of our best purchases.

I rarely write reviews but because I like this desk so much I wanted to let others know about its attributes. If you are looking for a small desk with good drawer storage this is it. I must have looked at 40 or more photos on various websites and this was the only one that looked as though it would function as a large desk but on a smaller scale. I often "snack" at my desk so the fact that it is not wood is a plus for me - easy to clean and don't need a coaster under the coffee cup! Top of desk comfortably holds telephone, desk lamp, small tissue box, pen holder, scotch tape holder, stapler and MacBook Pro (15 inch) and there's still room for papers, notes, etc. Drawers glide in and out easily and the lock works on the top drawer. If you like the looks of this desk I don't think you'll be disappointed if you buy it. Mine is walnut.

This desk is exactly what I wanted, the right size for my space and a beautiful design.I was able to build it by myslef. However I did have to pull it apart 3+ times to reassemble it correctly because the instructions were confusing.Also the drawer lock function doesn't work. At all

I'm Just under 80 years old and female. at first i thought there was no manual and i went on the chat line with Amazon and was told there was no manual. so i got it ready to go back and there it was hide. I know someone said he and his wife put it together in 25 min. it took me just under 4 hours, but i read and re-read the manual over and over. the real reason i bought this was that i had could put the drawers on either side. all desk that i looked at had the drawers on the left and i needed them on the right, the desk looks so much better than i every thought. What i would have liked was all smaller drawers and no file drawer, but i know most people buy it for the file drawer. bottom line it looks really nice and easy to put together even if you are 80. the hardest part was carrying it in the house when it was delivered.

I bought this desk because I was able to lock it and it does what it’s supposed to do. It comes with a key and all three drawers lock. It’s very sturdy and the very good for the price I paid.

Spent the extra for faster shipping and it's a great desk for small spaces. The only economical one that had a lockable file drawer

I was hopeful based on the reviews. Very expensive in my opinion for the product. Nice once assembled, but the drawers do not align properly. It can't sustain much moving around or heavy use.

No problem assembling. Quality is excellent for the price, but can you get extra keys.
