Q: Does this product have a florida building code product approval number for exterior door installation?

It does not, HOWEVER, you can simply use this to install the exterior door, then take an extra minute to nail in some shims to meet Florida code. The hard work of installing the door perfect, will already be done by the brackets.. and you are just nailing in some wood shims to make sure codes are met in Florida.

Q: Do you make them for 2 x 6 walls

Yes they work on 2x6 walls. The brackets have a break line on them. For walls greater than 2x4, you simply bend the bracket back n forth along the break line. They will snap into 2 pieces, then you attach. This gives them to ability to work on any width jamb.

Q: Is this for 2x4 walls

This works on 2x4 walls best. However, it can be used on all wall thicknesses. Visit installingadoor.com/install for specifics .

Q: Will these clips work with scissored walls ?

Yes. In the video instructions they show how to adjust for out of plane walls.
