Good wifi switch with BLE
I've have installed 2 of these a two gang and a 3 gang Easy to install, They are both replacements for a sonoff versions , . The app I use now is tuya smart life which is more reliable than ewelink which sonoff products use , as the ewelink servers go offline far to frequently. The versions I was supplied with has BLE ( Bluetooth low energy) which works very similar to ZigBee. The 3 gang is used for main lounge lights, light on the ceiling fan , and ceiling fan . The 2 gang is used for a lounge patio lights and a kitchen patio lights. Also the 2 gang is being used with door sensors , so when you open either sets of the french doors between sunset and sunrise the corresponding patio lights come on automatically . Both work with Alexa flawlessly. Unfortunately I now have to add I purchased this on the 25 January 2023 and as of 11/06/2023 this is switch this is no longer working, in the heat wave this switch keeps on freezing. After disconnecting the power it will reset correctly for about and hour and will refreeze. Ever after deleting from the app and reinstalling several times make no difference. I have other makes us of smart switches they are working properly in this heat. So I can no longer recommend these switches.mand there seems no way to return for a refund or replacement. Yes I do know what I'm doing as I'm an electrician by trade

Great switch
Works perfectly with Alexa. The “touch” isn’t great, takes a few seconds to turn on/off and you have to hit the spot perfectly

The switch works fine but the instructions are so useless that they made it difficult to install
Well the good news is that this switch does actually work. The really bad news is that the instructions are very very poor and if you don't know much about electronics and you are not that technical and struggle with setting up smart devices, then you haven't got a hope in hell on getting this working.Thankfully I had an electrician with me and I myself know a lot about smart devices so I managed to get this working, but by trial and error as the instructions don't make any sense. There are two ways of installing this according to the instructions - one is where you have a neutral wire and the other way is when you don't have a neutral wire present in your home wiring. Well in the UK I don't think I have ever seen this 3rd neutral wire. On the lighting circuits I have only ever seen the Live and Load wires. Please do NOT try installing this yourself unless you are a qualified electrician as you could either hurt or kill yourself. The instructions show two diagrams - one showing it wired with a neutral wire, and the other without the neutral wire. As I only have two wires I followed the diagram without the neutral wire. Here it asks you to install the supplied capacitor. When I installed it with that the lights kept flickering and wouldn't stay on. After a bit of trial and error we just removed the capacitor in the end and everything started working. I could easily have blown the fuses as even the electrician didn't know what they were trying to do on those diagrams. I call them instructions, but they are just two tiny diagrams and they don't explain anything.Once you get the switch working manually so you can just turn it on and off from the switch, then you have to get it setup in the Smart Life app so that Alexa can then discover it as well. Again the instructions are so poor that if you haven't setup devices using the Smart Life app before then I would try and get somebody who has. I just threw the instructions away in the end and just installed it using past experience and we finally got it working. It is a real shame that I can't score this more than two stars because the instructions are that bad that someone could seriously get hurt. The only reason I have give it two stars and not one is because the switch does actually work with Alexa once you can get it up and running without killing yourself.

Great switch but delivered damaged
The switches are great but every time I need to either accept a faulty ( I did first time) or return and get a new one. In my case every second switch has poor finish - chipped or glue unevenly distributed under glass cover which makes it not very esthetic , in some case half of surface impacted . In general super happy but you need to patient with returns in case you get one of many faulty units

Temporamental
I've had this 3 months now and after the first month of being fine, at least once to twice a week the switch stops working either with the app/echo or the touch buttons themselves. The only way to then get it working again is to trip the lighting circuit at the mains.

Very pleased but a bit slow
Pros1. Looks good2. Easy to install just make sure that you put the neutral in and neutral out in the same port3. Extremely easy to connect to smart lifeCons1. A bit slow. There is a delay from the moment you press the switch to the moment you hear the switch turning on/off2. I bought a second one (3 gang) and one of the buttons needs significant force to work

Needs a deep back box and doesn't work with LED bulbs
Was easy enough to install, however I did need to install the included capacitor in the light fixture for it to work properly. It doesn't like LED bulbs for some reason, I'm guessing it's the voltage drop and makes them flicker. I replaced with halogen and it works perfectly. Looks very neat and modern and works perfectly with alexa devices.
