Sturdy bit of kit, perhaps a bit short for deep holes?
This is a nice quality bit of kit. Although in the end we didn't need it so returned it looked like it would have been up to the job (cutting fence post holes in sandy / sandstone soil), although i suspect for deeper holes it might have been a bit too short. Looked and felt like good value for money i was tempted to keep it but as ever wife rightly challenged me on that, this was a one off job!

I haven't used this item yet,as I need it to remove some shrubs at the back of my garden fence and will wait until they die back in the autumn.Howevrr,this is just what I'm looking for to tackle the job and by the looks of it, its well up to the job.It's very well made,has some weight to it and is a very handy tool rather than hack away with a spade,this has enough weight behind it to make the job easier I think.Is it value for money? Depends how much you use it I suppose but it won't break, that's for sure! Extremely well made.A beast of a tool.

I have dropped a star because of the handle length it is too short,
After i removed the handle grip and used piping to extend the handle length,it is a good heavy duty tool. I use it to remove moss and weeds from paths,it is made for this task.
