I loved this book. It's heartwarming and sweet.

Like many others around the globe, I fell in love with Alex the first time I heard his honk and saw that happy face of his. I was drawn to his YouTube channel because I have three of my own little gray pears and they were fascinated by him, singing along and trying to mlem his millet. So when I heard that Annika was going to release a book about Alex (and Dominic), of course I wanted to buy it!The book is little, just like Alex, but filled with wisdom, sweetness, happy faces, and several honks from Australia. I will cherish this gift from that sweet birb as long as I possibly can. Thank you Alex, and you too Annika and Dommi, for reminding me to keep a honk in my heart! You will not be forgotten.

I bought this book because I have numerous birds and I follow Domenic's adventures on social media. The lovable honkatiel videos pulled at my heart strings as soon as I watched my first one and there's no denying how much of a gem these guys are.It's a (short - but incredibly sweet!) motivational book about keeping your head up through tough times. I'm not usually an extremely emotional person, but being aware of Alex's passing along with the eventual mortality of my own flock brought tears to my eyes with each flip of the page.There are only a couple or a few lines of text per page but the associated pictures speak are adorable and invoke powerful feeling.Maybe it's because my tiels bear a striking resemblance to Tina and Alex, or maybe it's just resonating with the honk in my own heart ♥

I bought this book especially in support of Annika after she lost her little one (RIP Alex), and when I got to the end of it I was in happy tears. This little book is great for cockatiel lovers, parronts, or any one who has a soft spot and needs a pick me up. You can tell how much Annika loves her boys from this book. Honk in heaven, little dude. We love you, too.

I loved this book so much! I read it every night before bed if I'm in a bad mood, or anything like that. This book is very calming, especially the 'honk in your heart' part. I don't know who would rate this a 4-1 star. This deserves a 5 always.

I have never laughed out loud as hard as I did with some parts of the book. I almost cried at some bits (in a good way). I have never been so happy about buying something in my entire life (except for someone, my animals such as my cat or chickens, they are on the same level)! Thisis such a cute book about Alex and his life. Its so cute. And it sits perfectly next to Alex the Honking cockatiel stuffy.

It was obviously a sad day when Alex flew over the rainbow bridge. I remember how I cried when I found out.He was a wholesome old man, and this book by his human mumther captures that wholesomeness beautifully. I was welling up by the end of it - both sad that he's gone, but taking comfort in the knowledge that his honk is still with me, and indeed all of us, no matter how far apart we all are.Along with his words of wisdom, there are many pictures of the man himself, as well as his son Dominic and late girlfriend Tina. I like to think they're enjoying a lot of millet dates in birb heaven.My own honk can be very quiet sometimes, and I know in the future I'll be looking to this book to give my brain a cuddle when it needs one, so to speak.'A Honk In Your Heart' is a beautiful little book, and a wonderful way to honour Alex's legacy.

I was overwhelmed by how beautiful this book is. As a long time fan of Alex, his loss was tough, but this wonderful book captures his wholesome spirit and encouraging message. A must for birb lovers in need of gentle kindness and courage to find the honk in their heart.

Adorable book for an an adorable bird! Something to remind yourself to smile

This book is just delightful. Anyone who knows of Alex the honking cockatiel on YouTube will love this. Very poignnant knowing he is no longer with us, this still makes me smile. There is some really good advice. Lots of pictures to enjooy.
