Good Deal
The price of these is very good but the tops are rather loose and dont fit properly, dont know how long they will last. Seeds and nuts are in them now and birds love them, so all good so far

Cheap and cheerful
A cheap and cheerful but very functional pair of bird feedersThey're made from cheap plastic and thrown together, however, they do exactly what they are supposed to do which is more importantThey're easy refil and easy to clean, reasonably priced and a must have for twitchers

Functional but flimsy bird feeders
I go through a lot of bird feeders, as they tend to get destroyed by squirrels. These feeders are a standard size and shape, similar to ones I already own. They come in a pack of two - one has a plastic tube and the other is mesh but they have the same type of cap.The first thing that struck me about these feeders was how thin they were. The plastic is thin and the mesh is thin. The hooks that come with them are pretty useless too - I use string instead, otherwise they get knocked down by pigeons or squirrels. The second thing that struck me was how filthy the plastic tube looked. The one I got was clean but totally covered with scuffs and scratches, like it was second hand. Fair enough it's for outdoor use but it doesn't strike me as a mark of quality when something looks so bad.The feeders are easy to assemble and fill. The small birds in my garden are happy to use them but I wonder how long it will be before the squirrel destroys them. The local parakeets can be quite destructive too. Even if the wildlife behaves itself, I have no confidence in the long-term durability of these feeders and don't consider them to be good quality or good value.

Bird feeders.
The principle of these bird feeders is good, there is one that is a solid tube and one mesh. The solid tube fills easily with seeds, the mesh one won't hold them so fat balls are what is needed. However it is quite difficult for birds and squirrels to get seeds out of the solid one as the holes and really slits. They are made from very light plastic, the lid is kept on by clipping it into the handle and then there are two S hooks provided to hang them. I have put them in the front garden for our regular visitors but have noticed the squirrel doesn't seem to like them, preferring his little log cabin feeder and the birds have trouble landing on the very thin perches, especially as our birds tend to be larger ones such as ravens and rooks and magpies. Would be ok for an area with a smaller type bird population. Not sure if they are worth the money.

Overpriced.....
These two bird feeders are a welcome addition to my bird feeding station. I find that feeders – especially plastic ones – soon get tatty and need replacing. The mesh feeder is ideal for sunflower seeds or chopped peanuts and the solid plastic one is fine for mixed seeds. Both were easy to fill.I was going to write that these were “cheap and cheerful” – except they are not very cheap and better value ones can be obtained elsewhere.

Not really substantial enough
These plastic and metal mesh feeders won’t stand up to much I’m afraid as they are so light and cheaply made. The hooks included are more like large earrings and will soon fail. I prefer sturdier versions and so do the birds who try to alight on them and feed in confidence.
