Great dehumidifier that runs very quietly.
Our family of 4 plus a dog live in our RV full time, and battling excessive humidity was previously a loosing battle. I tried several of the small units that don't run a compressor first because I have had a compressor running unit in the past. It was extremely loud and would be totally unsuitable for such small quarters. None of the other units did the job, and our windows continued to drip water all winter long. I finally broke down and bought this unit after reading several reviews and answered questions indicating that it was quiet, and they are correct. It is a very quiet unit, and it effectively removes moisture from the air. We empty it at least twice a day and some rainy days require three empties. It's small enough to fit nicely in a corner next to the slide out, and has run without a problem for a couple of months now. My only complaint is the excessive number of beeps when the bucket fills. I believe it beeps about 9 -12 times. This may be good in some situations, but I find it wakes us up at night when the bucket fills. I shall just have to figure out a way to drain it outside with the included draining hose.

Needs more power.
This is an okay dehumidifier. I needed a small one for our bathroom to keep it dry and to help dry clothes. But it doesn't chooch as it should. It is rated to remove 20 pints a day from the air (9.46353 liters) with a tank capacity of 1.5 liters. It has been running for the last 8 hours and is close to being full (at over 80% RH level). A second fatal flaw is the hose attachment. I initially had it draining into the bathtub. However, instead of pushing water through the pipe, it just backed up the system, leaving a puddle on the floor (leaked from the corner of the machine, not the tube itself). FYI the tub is about the same level as the hose outlet, so there really shouldn't have been a problem here. So unless you are draining directly down (no horizontal), you can't use it (I am assuming this works, but I did not try it). The instruction says that the hose should not be lifted more than 1.5 meters above the bottom of the device, so I thought it would be okay... Pros: Small, compact, and does remove some water from the air. Attractive. Not very loud. Cons: Draining from the hose can cause it to leak onto the floor. Cannot remove 20 pints in a day from the air. Seems to be around 8.5 pints a day. Not effective at drying clothes. Will slosh water on the floor when bucket is full if you move the device. Conclusion: If you need a small dehumidifier and the demands are low, and you want to drain straight into the bucket, then this might be the machine for you. Otherwise, you may want to consider looking elsewhere. Ultimately I decided to keep the unit. It keeps the bathroom dry, but don't expect to dry clothes with it.

Compact, love the wheels & style, works great!
Fills up in about 6 hours if it's humid set at 60%. I use it for my main kitchen floor (about 800 sf). Works great, area smells much better. Produces some warm air from exhaust but that's expected w dehumidifiers. Mine runs a lot. No problems. Figure $20 additional electric or less per month depending on where you live. Good compact smaller unit

Effective, compact, attractive, quiet dehumidifier
I've used this dehumidifier in my 22 foot RV travel trailer for two months now and its doing the job very well. I really like the small size. It is not too noisy. It can be set from 45% - 80% humidity depending on your preferences just as the bigger units. I keep it at 55% . As with my home basement dehumidifier it will warm the area up a bit. The company is warm, friendly and responsive. I would definitely recommend this product. It seems well built and a quality product unlike other cheaper dehumidifier. I have it slightly elevated on a small block with the drain tube up over and into the shower tub ledge so I never have to empty the tank. Thank you for such a nice, helpful product. This purchase has been my most happy experiences I've had on Amazon. I really hope it will give many years of service.

Leaks!
The dehumidifier is nice looking and quiet. However, the unit leaks from the bottom. When connected to the drain hose, the drip pan in the unit still fills up with water and shuts off when full. It also blows hot air, which is counter productive because when the humidity is high, the air temp is already high as well. Returning.

This dehumidifier is very nice looking, very compact
This dehumidifier is very nice looking, very compact, quiet, and has some cool features, however I feel the description of its functions were miss leading. Although the machine as an adjustable humistat and says the machine will shut off automatically when target humidity level is reached, that is not entirely true. The compressor does shut off, however the fan continues to run constantly. I feel as though that is pointless, it adds extra stress, wear and tear on the product and also runs up your electric for no reason. With that being said I am going to return this item. It's a shame because other than that I really like the product.

Solid buy, happy with purchase
I have been using this in my bathroom for about a week now, and very happy with its performance. + very quiet - you can tell it's running, but only from in the same room + performance - keeps our master bath dry + flexibility - you can adjust the desired max humidity, fan speed, and has an always on feature + drain hose included - ultimate in flexibility + size - this thing is very small for how well it performs + efficiency - uses about 160 watts on low according to my kill-a-watt - capacity - the included water storage tank is small, expect to empty it every day or two (on low, 60%) Solid buy, happy with purchase. Will update if I have any issues in the future.

This is a very nice dehumidifier; however be warned that it is NOT ...
This is a very nice dehumidifier; however be warned that it is NOT 20 pints (2.5 gallons) as advertised. It it actually 1.5 liters which is far less (.396 of a gallon). Completely dissatisfied that I have to return it and pay for shipping!
