Difference between the blastoise and charizard ones?

Charizard box has Charizard card sleeves, Charizard card dividers, and red dice. Blastoise box has Blastoise card sleeves, Blastoise card dividers, and blue dice. Other than that, the contents are the same.

Do these come with evolution packs? The description says steam siege.

I guess I missed where it said that in the description but the XY Evolutions elite box come with 8 packs of XY Evolutions cards. No Steam Siege. I personally love these evolutions packs of cards!!! Brings back my childhood plus new awesome cards.

Would this make a good starter set for a child who wants to play/collect casually? Are there enough cards so 2 can play vs each other?

My son thinks this is a great starting kit. There are plenty of cards to play and trade, and the box is great for storage.
